Paul Hoover, current president of the Upper Columbia Conference, has announced he is retiring April 30, 2018.
The following is a letter from John Freedman, of the North Pacific Union Conference:
It is our hope that the UCC will select a new president that is in harmony with the beliefs and practices (and decisions) of the Seventh-day Adventist worldwide body. This is a good opportunity to bring unity and a renewed sense of our Seventh-day Adventist biblical identity to the Upper Columbia Conference.
