NPUC Executive Committee Affirms NAD Pro-Defiance Document

It’s pretty creative to take the word “unity” and apply it to defiant measures within an organization.

That’s what the North Pacific Union Conference executive committee just did, which voted 34-2 for approval at its regular meeting on November 14, 2018, in College Place, Washington.

What are they approving? They approved the Non-Compliance (or Pro-Defiance) document that the NAD reacted with last week.

Obviously, they don’t call themselves Pro-Defiant, but that is what the NAD is doing—and what the NPUC is now supporting.

Predictions

All nine Unions in the NAD will likely issue statements endorsing the NAD Pro-Defiance document. The pressure on them to do so will be significant. The NAD will expect every Union Executive Committee to get on their runaway passenger train, the Rebellion Express.

Look for these nine Unions to also endorse the Tithe Parity motion that the NAD Executive Committee voted last week. The runaway train will need fuel to reach breakneck speed, and unlimited WO and the money to fund it with will act as motivators for this oncoming seppuku.

And it will be called Unity in order to mask its rebellious heart and impending danger. Notice:

“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world” (1 John 4:1).
