New Southern Adventist University LifeGroup: Dancing Worship

A couple months ago, a new LifeGroup sprang up on SAU campus to allow students to worship God in dance.

Started by Trisney Bocala, the dancing group meets at 7PM in the Hulsey Wellness Center. According to sources, it features contemporary dance styles plus jazz and hip-hop.

One girl says she feels that dancing helps her learn how “great and powerful and loving” God is.
“I believe that dance can be a powerful channel for worship” Bocala said.

“So it was, as soon as he came near the camp, that he saw the calf and the dancing. So Moses’ anger became hot, and he cast the tablets out of his hands and broke them at the foot of the mountain” (Exodus 32:19).
