Clergy for Conscience Declaration: What is it?

On April 7, 2022, a group of pastors released "A Christian Declaration on Conscience: The relationship between the State, the Church, and the Individual."

The Declaration can be reviewed and signed by clergy and non-clergy alike at https://clergyforconscience.org

This short declaration was prepared by Seventh-day Adventist clergy for all interested persons, and serves as a reminder of the crucial importance of conscience, and of the proper relationship between these. Nation-states declared a global health emergency in 2020 and overran individual conscience, while no major religious denominations offered substantive support for individual rights of conscience.

Pastor Larry Kirkpatrick hosts a discussion between several interested persons, including Declaration sponsor Pr. Alvaro Sauza, Canadian attorney Jay Cameron, American layperson Holly Joers, and American attorney Jonathan Zirkle in a rousing discussion of conscience and religious liberty.
