The Battle For Your Frontal Lobe (Sabbath)

Sabbath morning began with a delicious hotel breakfast and an interesting conversation with Pastor Rick Kunz and Greg Vatistas.  They both wanted to know about Fulcrum7, how is it going, how did it start etc.  We had a nice chat.

I also had a nice talk with Walt Cross. One of the presenters, he was also a fire chief and the Director of The Mustard Seed, an alternative medicine ministry. Plus he had a great Tennessee accent.

I grabbed an English Muffin egg & swiss sandwich from the hotel breakfast bar and was just about to put a lumberjack sized dent in it when I noticed a suspicious brown layer peeking out from the south corner.  I opened it up for inspection, and sure enough, the cads had snuck a layer of ham on it.  I set it aside and grabbed a banana and scrambled eggs.

 Dr. Subodh Pandit

This morning we got the second part of Dr. Subodh Pandit’s presentation on Evolution and Ceation.  Here some of his most excellent highlights.

  • Evolution is not well understood.  Darwin had ‘evidence’ against creation, not evidence for evolution.  There is no evidence for evolution.  Just negation of creation.

  • Evolution is built on doubt.  For instance one rhino has two horns and another has one horn, therefore they were not created. They evolved.  That’s how Darwin ‘reasoned.’

  • Evolution is based on religion according to Conrielius Hunter.  Its polemic against Creation is based on faith.

  • There are 250,000 species.  No fossil connects any two species.  No Missing link.  The link isn’t missing, the whole chain is missing.  Three strikes and you are out in baseball.  What do you think of a batter who swings and misses 250,000 times and demands to keep swinging?

  • Evolution talks about how a becomes b.

  • Take two parents. Their child gets features from the two parents.  Not from another species.  How can evolution get bigger when the base genetic material remains the same?  Only two parents.

  • It would take longer than the age of the earth to evolve just a bat’s wing.  There isn’t time for evolution to have produced what we see in the world.  Evolution is a personal belief system. There is only one other conclusion — supernatural creation.

  • Evolution harms biological classification.

  • Evolution has not been proven.  It has been disproven numerous times.  It does not stand test of scientific theory.

  • Humans cannot create, we rest in God’s creation.  That is why Exodus says remember.

  • Only Christianity has a Redeemer.  He redeems and sets you aside (sanctifies).

  • If not willing pray “God please make me willing.”  Willingness is the fundamental element of Christianity.  God says you will find Me when you search for me with your heart (Jeremiah 29:11-13).

  • God the Son said “It is finished at Creation and on the Cross.  Ticket to heaven. “You are dirty, I won’t take away the ticket, I will clean you up.”

Ivan Raj

Ivan Raj spoke at 11 AM.  He is the organizer of this event. His topic was yoga and mysticism.  Here some highlights of his excellent talk.

  • Buddha was contemporary with Daniel.  Buddha looked within, Daniel looked upwards (Daniel 9:3).   In Daniel 2 it mentions magicians, the astrologers, the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans (2:2).

  • Magicians in Daniel 2 were occultists.

  • Astrologers used created things with the help of demons.  Certain ladies in Ivan’s country would pray in the cemetery for  power. These Ladies would go to the beach and sit down on a blanket and offer to give readings to people for pay.   They would tell you about yourself and your future—if you paid them enough.

  • Sorcerers — Ecclesiastes 9:5

  • Chaldeans — These were the scientists and academic people.

  • Turn to the One who created the heavens for Truth, not to created things (Romans 1:25).

Brian Beavers

Brian Beavers gave the Sabbath sermon.  He is an evangelist, plus he has way better hair than Mike Carducci—an impressive swirl of reddish curls.  His topic was even more impressive, as he spoke on the Great Controversy and the new world order. His enthusiasm was infectious.

  • Brian has a channel on Rumble — The Apocalyptic Gospel.

  • New world order is coming. Pope, Rockefeller, Biden Obama have all publicly spoken about it.

  • Belief in the supernatural gathers the world together.

  • The issues in the battle of Armageddon is our clothing.   What are we wearing?  The righteousness of Christ or rags of our own devising.

  • Fauci said he is science itself.  Pompous.  He should have said he is scammer itself.  He (Fauci) profited greatly from Covid.

Hayley Wolfe

Hayley Wolfe spoke against Yoga, as someone who used to teach it.  Praise God she left it. It was very informative.  Her highlights,

  • Yoga teaches that divinity is within you.

  • Women are twice as likely to meditate as men.

  • In last three years adults who meditate have tripled

  • Meditation reduces flow on information coming in to a trickle.

  • Arousal can increase during meditation. Triggers dopamine — addictive.

  • Hormones are impacted by yoga meditation.

  • Lots of common side effects of long term meditation.

  • Makes you peaceful at first, then you begin to experience discomfort.  Anger, for instance comes back.  And comes back worse.  Where did that come from?

  • Spontaneously burst into tears.  Where is that coming from.  Point of meditation is to realize that you are God.  This is false teaching, based on lies.

  • Meditation causes serious spells of depression.  Meaninglessness sets in.

  • Become one with ‘source.’  Problem is, the source is the enemy of God.

  • Leads to suicidal thoughts.  Freak out moments and you don’t know why.

  • They say you must destroy yourself in order to become one with universe.   How’s that for a sales pitch?

  • Yoga and mystical meditation opens you up to enemy attack.  Paranormal experiences begin to show up.  Demons etc.

  • Solution - whatsoever things are pure.  Think on these things.  Admit that you are not God and will never be Him.  We can be His children.

  • Ps. Hayley is the grandaughter of Danny Shelton, and happily married to Zachary.

Round Table Discussion

There was a round table discussion with Mike Carducci and Chloe Cole.  This was a fantastic presentation, moderated by Victor Clairmont.

What is going wrong in America?

Chloe: Sexual Revolution caused lots of problems.  Working mothers changed the way that children were raised.  Raised less by by parents and more by social media.  Growing up in hyper sexual environment.  43 Percent divorces. 70 percent of black children are from split homes.

Mike: Christian church has an opportunity.  People used to say gays can’t change and God hated them.  Nowadays, liberal woke churches say “Gays can’t change but God loves them.”  Both approaches leave people stuck in their sin.  God showed me that I needed Him. Church is frustrated over this issue.  Homosexual and moral failure is in 1 Corinthians 6.  Jesus fixed this.  He can change anyone who is willing.

What would you like to see happen in the trans community?

Chloe: Allow adults to make informed decisions.  Seems like my generation is lost.  Friends get caught up in drugs and sex and are drifting aimlessly.   It never satisfies.

Is politics downstream of culture?

Chloe: A younger generation is not growing up in church with religious beliefs or values.  Even people who disbelieve are looking for something to believe in.  Before you move a fence, ask why it was put there.

Mike:  Parents are caught off guard.  Children have access to internet.  They often can’t handle it.  Unlimited access to internet is like giving an infant a razor blade.  When I was young I thought the Church only offered me traditions.  My perception of intimacy  had been totally confused.  We should give children traditions but have we taught them how to love righteousness?

What are your parents like?

Chloe: My father was Mormon and mother was Catholic.

Mike: My father had an affair with an SDA waitress.  That’s how my family was exposed to Adventism.

This generation is struggling with morality.  Is there a revival of morality?

Chloe: My generation doesn’t value family as much as previous generations.  Having children of their own.  Broken relationships.  The role of a father is very underrated.  It is much needed.

Mike: Divorce is harder on you than people realize.  I felt unprotected when father left.  When father left I was 10 years old.  I took the path of least resistance.

Chloe: Detachment was a part of my childhood.  Sometimes I would cry for hours and was hard to console.  Shy.  Distant from mom and dad.  I felt lonely.

People who are attacking me.  Transgender activists are often angry, abused and  rejected by parents.  They join the Trans community because they are detached at home.  Icing people.  Very unstable.  People getting cut off join these communities and then they cut off others if they don’t go along with lgbtq.

Are trans people damaged by hormone therapy?

Mike: Suicide rate is the highest seven years after hormone therapy.

Chloe: Androgens affect the body.  We have evidence.  There are always complications.

Mike: 92 % of surgeries have complications.

California parents will not be informed if kids decide trans.  Do parents have a right to know?

Chloe: Absolutely. This is a mental health issue. Teachers are doing mental health interventions that they are not qualified to do.

Chloe .. do you have a desire to go to college?

Chloe: Honestly no.  Everything I could learn in college I can learn from a book.  I have learned so much living life.  I don’t need more information on pronouns and wokeness. [I LOVE THIS ANSWER—Gerry]

Mike: I have watched you grow and express yourself. I would go to college to listen to you.

Is there a possibility that environment dysfunction plays a big part in this?

Mike: I wasn’t born gay but I inherited a legacy of unresolved moral sins. Never wanted to be a female, I wanted to be loved by my father.  If you’re messed up as a boy maybe you would be successful as a girl.

Chloe: There isn’t a genetic physiological marker.  Pre-conditions and trauma are almost always present.  It plays a role how you see yourself.

In 2023 we are hearing the term social contagion.  The American Psychological Association defines 'Social Contagion' as “the spread of behaviors, attitudes, and affect through crowds and other types of social media from one member to another”  Did the current trans craze pop up through the internet?

Chloe:  The internet has popularized this issue.  The left has politicized this issue, when it isn’t political at all.

You have five minutes to talk to a family where one of them is struggling with this issue.  What would you tell them?

Mike: I would tell them to sit down with their child.  What kind of relationship do you have with your kid?  My parents weren’t a safe source.  Mom was inadequate and dad wasn’t there.  Are you listening to your children about struggles?

Chloe: Establish trust with children.  Don’t be afraid to reprimand AND love them.  Also speak truth to children.  Just have fun with children.  Those are precious times.

What was top surgery like? Without getting too personal, what can you tell us?

Chloe: I began therapy with goal of eventually having breasts removed.  Doctors pushed me that direction.  Thereapy was a propaganda class. I was 15 years old and lots of kids in class around me were younger than me.  Being there propelled me  towards surgery.  Recovery process was pretty rough. I’m three years into it now.  It had gnarly side effects.  Skin grafts turned into open wounds. I’ve gotten no help from Kaiser for complications.  Surgeon gave me  five minutes.  I’ve had skin infections.

Closing question. What are some positives that have come from your experiences?

Mike: Couple friends in church accepted and had Bible studies with him. People studied with him and loved him.  Church members became like brothers and family.  Meaningful relationships in church.  Dear people offered to take care of me when I am old.

Chloe:  I learned rapidly, no matter what you lost there is always something to live for.  Choosing to speak and live truth you will lose friends but gain so much more than you lose. (Chloe is 19 years old).

We had the last meal of the conference—it was super good, including yellow curry soup (my wife’s favorite). I was glad my pants still fit after this weekend of gourmet meals.

Mike Carducci

Mike Carducci had the closing address to the audience.  It was a home run. With Chloe as his special assistant, he filled clear cups with colored water for the seven colors of the rainbow.  He explained what these colors represent in the Bible, and how one color is always missing from the gay pride rainbow flag.  Sometimes blue is missing (the Law of God) or indigo is missing (the intercession of Christ in the heavenly sanctuary).  It was a powerful visual aid.

The 6-Color Pride Flag is one of the most well-known and used LGBT flags throughout history. This flag includes the colors red, orange, yellow, green, indigo, and violet on it. Blue or indigo is often excluded.

  • The LGBTQ agenda is everywhere.  A book in Bible Belt shows God as three flamboyant dancing people.

  • Marriage was created in heaven.

  • God bypassed angels and gave the gift of procreation to mankind.

  • Satan wants to be God. He can’t but he will settle for destroying the image of God in people.  Nothing steals kills steals and destroys the image of God more than moral sin (1 Cor. 6:18).

  • DNA is a fingerprint on the inside.  You can’t change it.

  • God bless you and God loves each one of you.

-----------------

Thus the meeting was over.  We all stood around in a circle and prayed together.  There was a unique spirit of harmony and commitment to God’s Word.  When it was over, I noticed people didn’t want to leave.  Most of them stood around chatting until late.

Some naysayers say that a meeting like this is too controversial or political, and we should just be talking about positive or neutral things. As Grandma Wagoner used to say, “Hogwash.” Standing for God’s truth in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation takes way more courage than hiding from reality (Philippians 2:15; Isaiah 30:10). Standing with someone like Chloe against the neo-pagan forces of evil is the epitome of being a father to the fatherless (Psalm 68:5-6). It is ‘outreach’ in the highest sense of the word.

I bought some carob Carubies from Heidi’s Health Kitchen and a delicious drink from Sabri Eats—Sabrina Mills and Deanna. I was all set.

Ps. Heidi’s Health Kitchen shortbread is a tall favorite. I bought two of the large ones. I also bought a large bag of delicious Carubie-Latte drink mix powder. Wow. It’s like hot chocolate with fiber. It will become a regular favorite of mine—pun intended!

I hope they have another meeting.

They are, in April (26-27).
