92-Year Old Grandmother Rebukes Burglar With God's Word

This is great news.

92-year-old Pauline Jacobi almost became the victim of a parking lot robbery in Dyersburg, TN.

Jacobi had just finished putting her groceries inside her car at a nearby Wal-Mart when a man jumped into the car through the passenger’s side door.  He told Jacobi he had a gun and that he would shoot her if she didn’t give him money.

A REMARKABLE TESTIMONY OF LOVE

“I’m not going to give you my money,” Jacobi said.  In fact, she told him “No” three times.  Then she said this:

“If you kill me I’ll end up in Heaven and you’ll end up in hell,” Jacobi told the man.  “Jesus is in this car and He goes with me everywhere I go.”

Something about her words penetrated the man’s soul.  As he looked away from Jacobi, tears began to form in his eyes.

She spent ten minutes ministering to him right there in the car!  With her guidance, he asked the Lord for forgiveness and received Christ into his heart and life.  Then, the grandmother voluntarily gave the former thief ten dollars, which was everything she had.  “Now, don’t you go spending it on anything wicked!” she said.  He agreed and thanked her, kissing her on the cheek – and then he left.

“I will say to the LORD, “My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!”  For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.” (Psalm 91:1-3)
