San Francisco Condemns Abe Lincoln For Not Caring About Black Lives

Honest Abe, one of America’s all time favorite presidents, has been branded as insufficiently woke by a San Francisco school board. According to the administration, Lincoln didn’t do enough to show that black lives mattered to him.
‘Lincoln, like the presidents before him and most after, did not show through policy or rhetoric that black lives ever mattered to them outside of human capital and as casualties of wealth building,’ said Jeremiah Jeffries, the first-grade teacher who chairs the school board's renaming committee.
Despite being the most conscientious leader in America’s history to that date who fought tooth and nail to abolish slavery, his actions don’t seem to score him any points with the modern liberal agenda.

Apparently ending black slavery throughout America was not a sufficient demonstration of his character and resolve.. Maybe Lincoln also should have put on a mask and looted some stores.

Paris Mayor Fined 90,000 Euros For Hiring Too many Women For Government Roles

Paris city authorities have been fined for employing too many women in senior positions, a decision mocked as absurd by the mayor, Anne Hidalgo, on Tuesday.

The fine of €90,000 (£81,000) was demanded by France’s public service ministry on the grounds that Paris city hall had broken national rules on gender parity in its 2018 staffing.

“I am happy to announce that we have been fined,” Hidalgo, a member of the Socialist party, told a city council meeting, adding that she had been filled with joy when she learned of the penalty.

Hidalgo said she was faulted because 11 women and only five men were named to management positions in city hall in 2018, meaning that 69% of the appointments went to women.

“The management of the city hall has, all of a sudden, become far too feminist,” said Hidalgo, who was re-elected for a new term at the helm of Paris last year.

According to the text of the ruling cited by Le Monde, city hall violated a rule dating to 2013 that stipulates one sex should not account for more than 60% of nominations to management positions.

Hidalgo said she would take the cheque for the fine to the government in person, along with her deputy mayors and all the women working for her.

Taking a more serious tone, she added: “This fine is obviously absurd, unfair, irresponsible and dangerous,” adding that women in France should be promoted with “vigour because the lag everywhere in France is still very great”. “Yes, to one day achieve parity, we must speed up the tempo and ensure that more women are appointed than men,” she said.

Seattle Is Considering Making It Legal To Steal

Seattle hopes to make leftist fantasy a reality by creating an affirmative defense for theft if you intended to sell the stolen items for "basic needs" like food or rent.

It's called "the poverty defense," and would not only make stealing legal, but apparently fencing items as well, and would cover over 100 misdemeanor crimes.

As explained by liberal City Council member, Lisa Herbold,

"It's giving people an opportunity to tell their stories and giving judges and juries the opportunity to hear those stories and make a decision based on the values of our city."

Conspicuously absent among those values appears to be the right to private property.

Believe it or not, there are people in Seattle who believe this might not be an entirely good idea. As Scott Lindsay, a former mayoral Public Safety Advisor warned,

"It's a green light for crime."

Matthew Humphrey, whose barber shop was robbed of $4,000 worth of goods, had this to say:

"I think it's absolutely insane."

It’s ok, Matt. We think so too, and we have the perfect verse for it.

“Thou shalt not steal” (Exodus 20:15).

That’s the woke news from the world this week friends. Walk with the King, and be a blessing (in spite of insane leftism around us). Remember, God’s love includes truth too.
