Arlington SDA Church Defies World Church

When it comes to ordaining ministers for the gospel, the Seventh-day Adventist Church has been more than clear—the biblical leadership of pastors is for men, not women. There are places for women to serve, and the Bible does not invest women with the authority of being a Shepherd of the flock. That is reserved for qualified men only (1 Timothy 2:11-15; 1 Corinthians 11:3; 1 Peter 3:1—7; Titus 1:5-9).

But the Southeastern California Conference (SECC) does not follow the Bible in this matter, regretfully demonstrating non-biblical ordinations, and rebellion towards the world SDA Church, who has thrice said “No” to doing this. It makes you wonder, “What part of ‘No’ do they not understand”?

Oh, they understand it all right. And they, in their pride—like Jeroboam—do not care.

“After this event Jeroboam did not turn from his evil way, but again he made priests from every class of people for the high places; whoever wished, he consecrated them, and he became one of the priests of the high places.  And this thing was the sin of the house of Jeroboam, so as to exterminate and destroy it from the face of the earth” (1 Kings 13:33-34).
