Australian Dr. In Trouble For Issuing Vax Exemptions. SDA Church Sides With Government

New South Wales—Police have referred a doctor from NSW’s Central Coast to health authorities over allegations he issued hundreds of exemptions for Covid-19 vaccinations, without proper medical consultation.

Lake Macquarie GP Dr. John Evans was interviewed by detectives after a whistleblower called into the Ray Hadley radio show about teachers at the Kempsey Seventh-day Adventist school using the certificates.

Police allege the 84-year-old doctor, who came out of retirement recently, told officers he had issued 400 exemptions with another 300 pending. He shut down his list last Thursday, according to a message on his answer phone.

The voicemail message for the phone number indicated that the [exemption] program ended on Thursday.

Those interested in getting an exemption would have to call and ask, and would then be emailed.

“We are no longer taking on any new exemption patients as our books are now full,” the message said. “If you have had a consultation or sent an email prior to this date and time (COB Thursday) your paperwork will still be processed.”

The Seventh-day Adventist Church in Australia said it was fully supportive of vaccinations and was “deeply concerned by these allegations and will be fully supportive of any police investigation”.

“All Adventist schools in NSW will be fully compliant with the Public Health Orders as required on November 8, 2021,” the church said. “The Seventh-day Adventist Church is encouraging our members to be vaccinated.”

Or they will be fired. There are numerous SDA teachers and Church employees who will lose their jobs on or after the November 8 deadline.

“Detectives from Lake Macquarie Police District conducted inquiries, speaking to an 84-year-old man, and the matter has been referred to the relevant health authorities,” NSW Police said in a statement.

The Church religious liberty department has apparently not lifted a finger to help these people.
