Great Controversy Book Distribution in Vermont Stirs Up NBC Media

According to mynbc5.com and Remnant Publications, there is a project to send the Great Controversy book to all homes in Vermont. It made the local news in Burlington.

BURLINGTON, Vt. — South Burlington resident Henry Fiacco was confused when a book he didn't order showed up at his home.

"Did a quick Google search, found the author, found the book and some information on it," Fiacco said. "I read maybe a page and was 'like this is tough to follow.'"

The book 'The Great Controversy' was written by a co-founder of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. It was first published in the 1880s and believes it explains the controversy between Christ and Satan.

The publishing company Remnant Publications is currently undergoing a project that is collecting donations in order to send a copy of this book to all Vermonters. They also have a number listed on their website to inquire about sending mailers to different zip codes.

"I'm sure there's a motive behind it otherwise they wouldn't have done it," Fiacco said. "Whether it's to polarize people, I don't know."

Fiacco and many in community Facebook groups just want to know why they are sending this book and why now.

We are pleased that this incredible book is being distributed, and look forward to positive stories from people who read it. It changed my life.
