If The Light In Adventism is Darkness, How Great is That Darkness

In a world where God’s true people shine like the brightness of the sky amidst a crooked and twisted generation, those who lose their way to God’s wisdom can only walk into deeper darkness (Daniel 12:3; Philippians 2:15).

In the last thirty days, three Adventist voices have spoken from the darkness, celebrating the new faith of unbelief. Celebrating culture over truth and confusion over certainty. Spiritual slavery over freedom.

1) A culturally contrived lesbian wrote to a progressive Adventist publication asking for advice about coming out. She was told,

You need to trust that the way God made you is good, even if others don’t approve. And while haters will hate, many of us, your fellow Adventists, love you and accept you.

She was encouraged by the voice of darkness to “come out”, to embrace a false conversion experience, complete with false affirmation, a false future, and darkness instead of light. “If the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness” (Matthew 6:23).

2) BATTLE CREEK, Mich., Oct. 18, 2018— Kellogg Company continued its commitment to LGBTQ inclusion, by again partnering with GLAAD as an official sponsor of Spirit Day, an anti-bullying campaign. Kellogg, its brands, and employees, are 'going purple', the color of spirit on the rainbow flag, to show support for LGBTQ youth.

To celebrate “spirit day” without defining what spirit it is, invites the darkness of evil spirits into your soul. “If the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness” (Matthew 6:23).

3) The Oakwood University Alumni Association put this post on their Facebook page three days ago,

Our own OUAA President/NAD LGBTQ Committee Member Dr Cynthia Powell-Hicks and Mrs. JoAnne Lightford attending the Los Angeles Aids Walk.

Now, Oakwood University distanced itself from the Oakwood Alumni Association over a year ago. But these are people (in the Alumni Association) who have grown up in Adventist homes (many of them), stood shoulder to shoulder with us at one time. They were educated in a University that was cultured under the faithful hand of CD Brooks. Now they are celebrating LGBTQ pride.
“If the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness” (Matthew 6:23).

Experiments in morality are going to get people eternally killed.
