We have dulled the ears of many of our evangelical and conservative brethren to our message by essentially crying wolf on many things that were not religious liberty threats, but in fact just political movements.

The Church must be separated from the state. We are a living church lashed to a dead state. In order to call someone out of Babylon, we have to be out ourselves.

Certain structures can train people’s conscience to be silent. This is eternally dangerous. Silence never removes the cost, it only relocates it. Truth delayed in the name of ‘stability’ results in greater damage.

Over the past year, just about every wrong decision has been made regarding VSDA and its leadership and there is now irreversible damage.  Lives have been permanently altered and trust has been destroyed.

Nor does church administration have an unbroken record in defending liberty of conscience. This has been increasingly so over the past forty years, and never more clearly than in the last five.
