We have wandered much longer than 40 years in this world, waiting for entrance into the heavenly Canaan.  Are we going to continue to rebel against the Lord’s directives? 

LGBTQ activism is alive and well within Adventism, at the highest levels. At the NAD level, and in conferences and unions such as the Potomac conference. And yet there are still those at a distance that want to question where the apostasy in the church is today.

This debate shows no sign of diminishing, rather it appears to be intensifying.  If a productive, biblical solution is not found, the result could be devastating to the church.

No, the Jesuits are not the cause of your problems; or the Jews, or the Zionists, or the Christian Nationalists, or the racists, or the Marxists, or the globalist elite, or church administrators.

Of course, the title does not imply a literal death – though I dare say there have been some poor souls who actually did die in the midst of a sermon – including the preachers themselves.

Expanding this prophecy to include every past or present injustice may be popular today, but it goes beyond what Scripture and the Spirit of Prophecy actually say.

Elder Kohler, I also believe it is time to change the paradigm of our church structure.  We are at a crossroad in our church history where we can no longer ignore the accountability issues. 

Suggestions have been made to justify a cessation of returning tithe via the Church structure until certain demands are met. Is there no mechanism to drive change besides manhandling the sacred tithe?

The church has increasingly positioned itself as a middleman, receiving federal money to run schools, hospitals, and federally approved welfare programs.

So why are so many Adventists looking for a bushel to hide the Ten Commandments out of the sight of impressionable young public-school students in Texas and Louisiana?

After Christ’s death, Paul, who was a Benjamite and a minister of the gospel, claimed the right to receive support just like the priests and Levites who ministered in the temple (1 Cor 9:1-14).

It only took one generation after Joshua — a man who knew God and walked with Him — for the people to slide into ignorance and rebellion. They knew about God, but they didn’t know Him.

Many people crucify themselves between two thieves:  regret for yesterday and fear of tomorrow.  And we want to get through his minefield to see what is beyond – over the hill.

An obvious question is; who learned their lessons faster, the Israelites or the Adventists?   Ancient Israel graduated in 40 years.  When is modern Israel going to graduate?

Today's church has been reshaped by worldly compromises. True unity comes only through the gospel, not cultural or political agendas.

And its worth realizing that relativistic ideologies elevate the government to God status, with the hopes of legislating tolerance and total freedom from moral restraint.

Let us pray that the Lord God of the universe would frustrate the plans of the enemy in our Church, including pro-LGBTQ+ graduation ceremonies.  He is listening.

Largely, most denominations agree with God’s directives on LGBTQ+. However, the terrain is changing. Activists are making headway in our churches, schools, and leadership, all the way to the top.

Because of our Biblical understanding of last day events, we will have the wonderful opportunity to have “walks to Emmaus” with many of our dear protestant and evangelical friends and neighbors.
