Every generation has had its counterfeit gospels. They promise to fix what is broken in us and in the world, but they swap Christ's power for some other cure. Social justice is the latest of these counterfeits.

How long must wounded members wait before church leadership acknowledges their pain, takes responsibility, and seeks reconciliation?

This is a counterfeit experience meant to distract you from the genuine experience God wants for each of us. Retreat from retreats like this and seek after the Creator God who is waiting just for you.

We are convicted that we cannot remain silent while members within our church are oppressed, mistreated, silenced, and cancelled. Standing for what is right is not rebellion against God, it is faithfulness to His principles.

I view my investment accounts as similar to backing up important files on my computer. Similarly, if our Savior doesn't return as soon as I hope, I want to have a financial back-up plan so I can provide for my family, plus have more money to give to God's work.

This shared symbolism shows the intent of God, through Christ, to treat us as brothers with the angels who never fell.

The Bible has the last word; if the NPUC wishes to invent its own practice, it can take its utilitarian approach, make its separation official, and launch its own thing as an entirely separate entity, a different church.

When a couple conforms their life to God’s principles, they will experience joy and fulfillment in marriage.  Yes, there will be things to balance, forgive and resolve in the marriage, but if they commit themselves to God’s ways, they will experience happiness. 

As Sam Neves said, “without the Holy Spirit, September 27 [2027] will be just noise…” There is need for presence of the Holy Spirit, and meeting prerequisite conditions (putting aside sin, self and prideful rebellion; and putting on humility, surrender and obedience…)

Christian charity does not require doctrinal surrender. Cooperation in humanitarian matters does not require merging doctrines, institutions, or worship with those who reject fundamental biblical truth.

Articles inform. Petitions appeal. Open letters persuade. Sermons warn. But formal church action does something different: it enters the governance process. You need to hear about it !

Unlike Babylon, the United States was founded with a clear understanding of this boundary between civil responsibility and religious liberty. It is this understanding that has made us a great nation! 

In Jesus’s day, the church leaders chose Caesar over Jesus Christ. Are we seeing a repeat of that, and is the vast majority of the church laity following their lead either through active consent or passive disengagement? 

A man from Pakistan running a halal shop across from the mosque tells me they voted for Mamdani only because he’s a muslim and that they “of course” want the call to prayer at 5 in the morning.

Modern Adventist advocacy has increasingly attached itself to a collection of explicitly or implicitly political causes: environmental activism, racial equity expansive immigration, hostility toward traditional religious morality, suspicion of patriotism, and enthusiasm for international institutions and the welfare state.

I am increasingly concerned that secular cultural and political concerns are being imported into the church and are beginning to shape how we understand biblical roles, authority, and even church governance.

There are now two layers of protection over rebellious conferences, enabling them to demonstrate defiance towards the Bible and GC policy without any fear of resprisal. These two layers are the NAD and defiant Unions.
