The Vyhmeister family recently paid the Michigan Conference 300 pounds of beans as a tithe payment. Apparently, the Lord has prospered them, and they made a cheerful donation, according to the Good Book (2 Cor. 9:7).
Inspired by Dr. Conrad Vine's Entropy sermon, we personally delivered 300 lbs of beans as a tithe of protest to the Michigan Conference. When Jesus overturned the money changers' tables, He demonstrated that standing against injustice sometimes requires bold action that may even touch the sacrificial and tithe system that was established by God. We are convicted that we cannot remain silent while members within our church are oppressed, mistreated, silenced, and cancelled. Standing for what is right is not rebellion against God, it is faithfulness to His principles. We stand with Conrad Vine and all who have suffered injustice because defending the oppressed is part of being a follower of Christ.
