Woodsen’s wife, Marlene Rodriquez is a ‘pastor’ at the Crosswalk Sacramento SDA church. Japhet DeOlivera, one of the founders of the One Project is also a pastor at this church.
Mrs. Woodsen was ordained on July 9, 2022 at the Gracepoint Church. Her ordination violated three Seventh-day Adventist Church decisions against ordaining female pastors.
Modesty is a biblical principle, and leaders ought to demonstrate this principle, lest they violate the conscience of people they serve—children and adults alike. The above white ‘dress’ is profoundly immodest (1 Peter 3:3-4), although it may have been popular in 1 Kings 16:31 and chapter 21.
We are grateful, however, that a 2-piece swimwear wasn’t worn, so that’s a positive.
What can people do who feel trapped in a Union like this? Stay close to the Word of God, and find better examples of consecrated believers to emulate. There are good committed Adventists out there, in fact they are keeping the SDA church from being absorbed completely into the culture.
