AdventHealth Sponsors Wicked Show In Orlando

According to City Surfing Orlando, Advent health is sponsoring the broadway show ‘Wicked ‘on January 25 through February 12 at the Dr. Philips Center. The show glorifies witches, demons and occult darkness. From the promo:

“Wicked,” the Broadway sensation, looks at what happened in the Land of Oz… but from a different angle. Long before Dorothy arrives, there is another young woman, born with emerald-green skin, who is smart, fiery, misunderstood and possessing an extraordinary talent. When she meets a bubbly blonde who is exceptionally popular, their initial rivalry turns into the unlikeliest of friendships … until the world decides to call one “good,” and the other one “wicked.”

I wish we didn’t have to publish things like this, but Adventists can benefit from knowing what happens when any organization, group, or individual seeks friendship with the world and fellowship with culture.

It raises serious questions about the biblical judgment of the Board of Directors. I mean, who actually thought this was a good idea?

Gary Thurber was previously chairman of the board. He was replaced by Ron Smith, president of the Southern Union Conference in October of 2019.

Ellen White told us that the Sabbath would be lightly regarded among Laodicean members as we near the end. This goes way beyond being lightly regarded. There are three Sabbath days in January 25 — February 12 where the wicked show will be performed. This is pure Isaiah 5:20.

Wicked is a good name for it.

“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” (Isaiah 5:20).
