Diamond Garcia grew up in Waipahu, Hawaii and now lives in Kapolei. At age 25, Diamond became one of the youngest Hawaiian State Representatives in history, winning the 2022 State Representative seat in House District 42. Diamond is a Seventh-day Adventist Christian.
On January 13, Diamond Garcia introduced HB52. This bill requires state agencies to offer individuals who resigned or were dismissed from employment for not complying with vaccination or testing requirements the option to be reinstated, with back pay, to the position that person held prior to their termination.
Parental Rights
On 1-23-2023, Diamond also introduced the parental rights bill HB509. This Bill bans instruction related to sexual orientation and gender identity in public schools. It establishes new parental rights regarding health services and records. It further establishes the parental right to sue and receive damages if schools fail to adhere to new provisions.
I was honored to be part of the Operation Iceberg team with Diamond, as we exposed Emerging church mysticism that was infiltrating the Seventh-day Adventist church through the One Project and liberal Adventist schools & leaders.
