The Southeastern Regional Conference in Florida (SEC) held a Youth Convocation titled "This is My Why", on January 27 to 29 at the Southeastern Conference campground.
During this meeting, an animated ‘singer’ repeatedly told the audience that you can choose your own Sabbath, it doesn’t have to be on Saturday. Here is a testimony from a girl who was there.
“I attended the youth convocation 2023 for the whole weekend and will share a few of my thoughts. I enjoyed the divine worship. I thought the music was great and speaker lovely. It is at the concert where words were said that I cannot let slide. While I understand he was a guest and does not know our beliefs and doctrines, I believe it is a tragedy that he stood on a Seventh-Day Adventist platform and directly attacked the main belief and doctrine, and there be no official correction by leadership. Yah bless this man and all he does and I pray he comes to the truth. It seemed to be an unintentional mistake and my grievance is not so much with him than with leadership. Because we are in the LAST DAYS, WE MUST BE BOLD to PROTECT the TRUE BELIEFS and DOCTRINES, ESPECIALLY the one of the SABBATH. We already know the devil’s last plan is to deceive and confuse about the true day of worship!!!
He will distribute his counterfit mark after Elohim issues His seal to His people (the same Seal that is contained ONLY in 1 commandment….the only commandment to say REMEMBER…. Exodus 20:11 KJV). WE MUST VET PEOPLE AND BE CAREFUL WHO WE ALLOW ON OUR PLATFORMS.
There are several respectful ways that statement and sentiment could have been corrected but, in the heat of the moment I do try to sympathize because I understand not wanting to turn someone off to SDA’s, but the truth is the truth. We cannot be afraid of “cancel culture” or any other man on this earth because of who we serve. If this were an attack on any other belief I would maybe let slide but I cannot because of the sheer gravity and importance of the 4th commandment. Let this be a learning lesson, let’s just never let this happen again by the grace and will of Elohim.”

“This was no mistake, he said what he said on purpose. How can we pick the Sabbath??? This whole Concert was out of line !! He should of never been invited, and once this mess happened, he should of been escorted off the stage !!
