Recently, a leading SDA writer penned an impassioned plea to consider climate change a major moral issue of our day. In addition, he linked a favorite SDA topic to this “green agenda” by positing that vegetarianism is a terrific answer to climate change because consuming animals is not nearly as efficient for the environment as directly eating plants.
Now while I do love this brother in the faith, honestly I found this article lacked a full disclosure of the real and complete truth of the matter. There is a whole “rest of the story” that makes this “climate change agenda” far more sinister than we are being told.
Yes! Vegetarianism is a good thing. But, we must give full disclosure! Vegetarianism is not mandatory for salvation according to God’s Word, nor according to His Son who was NOT a vegetarian, even in His risen glorified body – see Luke 24:42,43! Yes! Christians should be good stewards of God's Creation; few have any problem with that belief and conviction. That has been so from day # 1 in Eden. Nothing new here.
Here’s what IS new + dangerous! Last year, at the Obama-occupied White House, and in his recent encyclical, the Pope framed global climate change as a giant moral issue. Ironic, since his system and core beliefs are the most immoral in this world’s history! Some examples: Legalism gains salvation. Rampant Priest Pedophilia. Anti-Sabbath. Indulgences. Tradition over God’s Word. Absolution. Transubstantiation. 100+ million killed by his system during The Dark Ages. Mary forgives sin. A re-energized awareness of these facts should awaken giant caution when the The Beast power begins claiming moral high ground for an agenda, why?
Have you ever asked yourself why climate change is itself questioned by many intelligent scientists across the world? I have. Keep reading, I think I see an answer below.
The real problem is that the left / progressives, who are beholden to evolution as their ultimate source of truth, have jumped on an entire false narrative of climate change to be the catalyst for their new world order. The astonishing thing is so many SDAs seem clueless and buy into this evil agenda while chest pounding how they are so "green."
I consider the Creator's perspective to be far more accurate than any pope or scientist:
And Noah built an altar to God. And he took of every clean animal, and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar (Gen 8:20).
And the Lord smelled a sweet odor. And the Lord said in His heart, I will never again curse the ground for man's sake, because the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth. And I will not again smite every living thing as I have done (Gen 8:21).
While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease (Gen 8:22).
Inspired words further tell us the “rest of the story” behind this climate change agenda. This issue is being hijacked by Lucifer for sinister ends! No wonder even scientists are confused as to the reality and source…the deceiver is massively involved!
Please pray through the following inspired words and look at them anew through the lens of the current climate change encyclical moral agenda driven movement led by the White House!
“As men depart further and further from God, Satan is permitted to have power over the children of disobedience. He hurls destruction among men. There is calamity by land and sea. Property and life are destroyed by fire and flood. Satan resolves to charge this upon those who refuse to bow to the idol which he has set up. His agents point to Seventh-day Adventists as the cause of the trouble. "These people stand out in defiance of law," they say. "They desecrate Sunday. Were they compelled to obey the law for Sunday observance, there would be a cessation of these terrible judgments." {Mar 176.2}
Calamities will come--calamities most awful, most unexpected; and these destructions will follow one after another. If there will be a heeding of the warnings that God has given, and if churches will repent, returning to their allegiance, then other cities may be spared for a time. But if men who have been deceived continue in the same way in which they have been walking, disregarding the law of God and presenting falsehoods before the people, God allows them to suffer calamity, that their senses may be awakened. {Mar 176.3}
The judgments will be according to the wickedness of the people and the light of truth that they have had. If they have had the truth, according to that light will be the punishment. {Mar 176.4}
Satan puts his interpretation upon events, and they [leading men] think, as he would have them, that the calamities which fill the land are a result of Sunday-breaking. Thinking to appease the wrath of God, these influential men make laws enforcing Sunday observance. They think that by exalting this false rest-day higher, and still higher, compelling obedience to the Sunday law, the spurious sabbath, they are doing God service. Those who honor God by observing the true Sabbath are looked upon as disloyal to God, when it is really those who thus regard them who are themselves disloyal, because they are trampling underfoot the Sabbath originated in Eden. {Mar 176.5}
Simply put, the full and balanced story of climate change warns that this agenda will be the catalyst for a new world order wondering after the beast, that institutes substitute commandments for God’s Holy Law, and ends up with a precise fulfillment of “no buy, no sell” unless you are “marked” as a loyally “green”… Sunday keeper!
