Jerry Brown: A Jesuit For All Seasons

I am applying the truth I was brought up on." The truth of the Jesuits' founder, Ignatius Loyola, whose principles, says Brown, have "worked for 400 years" (Jerry Brown)

Early life and education

Brown was born in San Francisco, the only son of former San Francisco lawyer, District attorney and later Democratic governor Edmund G. "Pat" Brown, Sr.  He graduated from St. Ignatius High School and studied at Santa Clara University.  In 1958, he entered Sacred Heart Novitiate, a Jesuit seminary, intending to become a Catholic priest.

However, Brown left the seminary and entered the University of California, Berkeley, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Classics in 1961.  Brown then went on to Yale Law School and graduated with a Juris Doctor in 1964.

After law school, Brown worked as a law clerk for Mathew Tobriner, who was a justice for the Supreme Court of California, and studied in Mexico and Latin America.

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS/AP) — Gov. Jerry Brown, who trained as a Jesuit, said Wednesday that he is pleased to see a Jesuit elected pope.  The former seminarian was asked his opinion about the selection of Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio of Argentina after an event to promote solar power and wind energy.

“I’m glad he’s a Jesuit,” Brown told reporters during a question-and-answer session. “He is from Argentina, so that might give him a broader perspective to see the world through the Southern Hemisphere, but what the h--- l do I know?  I thought Jesuits weren’t allowed to consider higher office.  At least they weren’t in my day.”

As a young man, Brown spent two years studying to become a priest at a Jesuit seminary in the San Francisco Bay Area, the Novitiate of the Sacred Heart in Los Gatos.  After serving as governor from 1975 to 1983, he also studied Zen Buddhism at a Japanese monastery and later briefly worked alongside Mother Teresa in India.

Before commenting on the selection of the pope, Brown referenced the papal conclave while answering a question about the state’s prison reorganization.  He acknowledged that the prison changes have not been perfect, but added, “We don’t have that prerogative they have over there in Rome of infallibility.”

Brown was one of many Jesuits across the country who were excited about Pope Francis’ election.  Father Tom Rausch, who teaches theology at Loyola Marymount University, said he was actually surprised the one-time Jesuit was chosen by at least 77 cardinals.

“It blew me away.  Although he was the runner-up at the last conclave when Pope Benedict was elected, his name was never mentioned…this time around,” he said.

Rausch said the new pontiff ceased to be a Jesuit when he became a bishop, but hopes the pope’s roots will spur interest in the order.

“What makes a Jesuit… a Jesuit… is the experience of making the spiritual exercise,” he said.

Gov. Jerry Brown, Bay Area mayors head to Vatican for 2015 climate-change meeting.

"California Gov. Jerry Brown and Pope Francis each might see a bit of himself in the other when they crossed paths in July 2015 at a Vatican symposium on climate change and human trafficking.

Born less than two years apart, the governor and the pontiff share a Jesuit Catholic background that calls for "discernment" -- spiritual introspection on one's destined mission in life.  And for now, both have discerned that battling climate change is part of that mission.

"I'm very impressed with Pope Francis and where he's taking the church -- I see the hand of Jesuit training and inspiration in what he's doing,"  Brown, who studied to be a Catholic priest before deciding his true calling was politics, said in an interview with this newspaper before he left for Italy.

"The pope is engaging in moral authority and calling people to reflect on the basis of those considerations," he said.  "This is desperately needed to counteract the iron logic of the marketplace, which is only dealing with profit" said the five million dollar net worth Brown.

"To achieve anything in Paris, we'll need grass-roots efforts by religious leaders and states and provinces," said Brown, who during his latest terms as governor has become an international proselytizer for action against climate change.

"We need to work together to intensify the pressure on these national leaders to get more done than is currently on their respective agendas.  Pope Francis' leadership is key in a "very reactive business" like politics, he added. "The Catholic Church has a unique ability to emphasize the importance of the environment.  Very little attention is paid to the natural environment in the way Francis pays attention."

Written by Rick Wells:
"Governor Moonbeam has a forty-plus year history of developing and blending his own mixture of Jesuit-based, Zen-influenced political activism with supposedly separate state government. Now that Pope Francis has begun actively inserting himself into American politics as an advocate for our surrender to Marxist global government and the associated climate change absolution payments, Brown is being called upon by another of his fellow Jesuits, Francis, to lend his support in the “rush to climate change” that is being orchestrated all around us and in which Francis has now publicly assumed a pivotal role.  Brown was be a speaker at a propaganda event being held at the Vatican in 2015.

As Pope Francis engineers a rather obvious shift away from Christianity towards a global religion of Earth worship, Governor Jerry Brown quotes a fellow Jesuit French Priest named Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, who said, “What’s unacceptable becomes acceptable.”

Chicago columnist Mike Royko, who is credited with labeling Brown Governor Moonbeam in the seventies, once wrote of Brown,

"I long ago gave up trying to figure out what Gov. Moonbeam stands for or believes in besides getting his mug on TV and confusing people into voting for him.  He labeled Brown an intellectual hustler who can jabber so nimbly that no one can figure what he is talking about.  In that regard, what better or more talented ally could one who is trying to push the climate hoax on the world hope for?  Brown is a natural spokesman for climate change."

As if simultaneously providing a preview of coming attractions, and validation of the Royko characterization, Brown said in a recent LA Times interview, “Religion deals with the fundamentals.  When you deal with the fundamentals of what makes the atmosphere, and the weather, and whether that permanently or radically changes, that’s very similar to a fundamental principle of right and wrong.”

Not only is Brown a confusing individual to listen to, he is deliberately conflating science and religion, creating an equally confusing premise in structuring his foundation for attempting to persuade people to accept his phony climate change arguments.  Rather than trying to figure out what he’s talking about, how many people just nod, agree and numbly surrender to his gibberish?  Rather than maddeningly searching for an elusive point concealed somewhere in his comments it’s much easier to assume that somewhere one must exist.  They’ll just trust him and his Argentine comrade and believe that what their eyes tell them is not happening really is happening, simply because they say it is.

As Adolph Hitler and Joseph Goebbels understood and employed, the theory of the big lie is still being used by those who seek to dominate the world today.  Goebbels wrote, If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

The liberal media are performing their function to perfection, repeating the global warming lie in accordance with the Goebbels and Hitler criteria.  The power-mad successors to Nazi ambitions within both the American political class and the Vatican hierarchies perform their function of repeating the lie.

Just as the Priest de Chardin prescribed, the unacceptable is being pursued by Brown, Obama, Francis, Kerry and the rest of the elites, in creating a combined Catholicism/Earth worship hybrid.  Catholicism has become a tool of the subversive Pope Francis and he’s misusing it in an attempt to manipulate both Catholics and non-Catholics into submitting to their cabal’s global domination.

America's response to their efforts needs to be a loud, forceful and unmistakable, “No.  No sale, get out of our face.  We Americans love our freedom and we hate traitors and dictators. We aren’t about to surrender to either.  Your pathetic attempts to brainwash us and steal the world for yourselves have been exposed.  We aren’t docile sheep willing to become obedient slaves and we have no masters upon this Earth.

They can take their communist burritos back to Argentina and California.  We’ve got no appetite for what they’re peddling and aren’t biting.  We aren’t ignorant third-worlders; we're Americans."  Rick Wells.

The New World Order Takes Shape

November 16, 2017 Fulcrum7 Staff

"Dear friends, there are things happening in the world which indicate that prophecy is being fulfilled.  The world’s elites are working hard to get the whole world united in some sort of a new world order.

California Governor Jerry Brown spoke at the US Climate Action Center during the UN Climate Change Conference COP23 in Bonn, Germany, 11 November 2017.

In case you missed it amid all the other craziness being foisted on our society by our fake news media, California's Governor Jerry Brown inadvertently spilled the beans about the whole "Climate Change" religion at the climate conference hosted last Fall by the Vatican.

Participating in a panel discussion along with several of the other Cardinals of the Church of Climate Change, Gov. Brown stated "At the highest circles, people still don't get it."

"It's not just a light rinse" that's required. "We need a total, I might say, 'brainwashing.'  We need to wash our brains out and see a very different kind of world."

*Note to Jerry Brown: Nazism requires brainwashing.  Communism requires brainwashing.  If your 'science' requires brainwashing to be believed by the people, it probably isn't much of a scientific endeavor at all.

In Daniel 2 we read about the progressive kingdoms of the world, from Babylon, to Medo-Persia to Greece and Rome.  Then we move into the time of the toes, beginning in the fifth century till now.  The Bible says they “Will not cleave unto each other” (Daniel 2:43).  Napoleon tried it, Kaiser Wilhelm, Hitler and the European Union all tried to get a unified Europe and could not do it.  They tried to stand against the Word of God and failed.

Then we turn to Revelation 17 and we see the world symbolized as ten horns who receive power for one hour from the beast (v. 12).  Who is the beast?  The Roman Catholic Church.  The world will be united with the Papacy as leader.  Enter Climate Change (or Global Warming).

To quote Dr. Isaac Olatunji “Global Warming is the Pimp that brings all nations to the Great Harlot."

The article talks about California Governor Jerry Brown who is an unwavering supporter of the Vatican in their efforts to bring the world together under this agenda.  Brown is upset with the Trump Administration in Washington for refusing to support the Paris Climate Agenda.

The United States is the only country on earth that has backed out of the Paris Climate Treaty.  If all the nations of the earth drink from the cup of fornication of the Great Harlot, then the United States will join all nations of the earth in the last days, indeed they will lead out in the process.  But America, under the current presidential administration is not joining up with Rome in this Global Warming Climate Change agenda.  That could be a very good thing."

Numerous people dislike Donald Trump, but on this particular issue, not joining with the Pope can only be a very good thing.  And the Pope isn’t happy.

He is blaming the President, and millions of "deniers" who rightly see the globalist agenda underneath the Global Warming scheme.  The subtitle of the Independent reads:

"The pontiff has become an authoritative voice on climate change, all the more so as the US leadership has abdicated responsibility"

And check out The New York Times from last Fall:  As U.S. Sheds Role as Climate Change Leader, Who Will Fill the Void?

The New York Times lists five possible entities who will take the place of the US in the Climate Change agenda.

Will it be one of these five?  Dear friends, do we even have to ask?  It will very likely be the Pope of Rome.  Why do you think he is putting so much energy into this agenda?

There is currently a movement underfoot to invoke a global day of 'rest' to allow the earth to 'heal.'  And it's gaining momentum.

Don't fall for this agenda, friends.  Stand tall for God instead!  Amazing things are coming on thing world, but as we stand tall for The Lord, He will guide us and, through His Spirit, protect us from temptations and traumas.

He will be with us until the end (Matthew 28:20)."  Fulcrum7 article.
