The Whole Meal Gospel

And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people (Revelation 14:6).

Are you absolutely and completely sure you have the whole everlasting gospel?   Because the Christian commission is to take this everlasting gospel to the world (Matthew 28:19,20; Revelation 14:6).  In the Bible, Jesus uses bread to represent His gospel. “I am the bread of life.”  John 6:35.  “Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4).

But what do you call a highly refined wheat product that has been stripped of 11 known vitamins, half a dozen nutritionally significant minerals, as well as the essential fatty acids?  Some would say nutritional junk.  This is white bread.

Studies have found if rats are fed only white bread, their fur starts falling out and they start eating each other and they die.  If they are fed whole meal bread they suffer no such problems and they live on.

The whole meal gospel of the Bible teaches the need for both forgiving and enabling grace, which includes His forgiveness and His transforming presence.  But tragically much of Christianity teaches only with emphasis on the partial white bread gospel of forgiving grace.  Do you really have the whole meal, everlasting gospel to share?  Or do you only have the white, refined bread that has no complete nutrients?

In the refining/bleaching process modern bread makers also add in the following chemicals:

  •  Aluminum chloride

  • Azocarbonamide

  • Benzoyl peroxide

  • Calcium propionate

  • Calcium sulfate

  • Chlorine

  • Chlorine dioxide

  • Nitrogen dioxide

  • Potassium bromate

  • Potassium iodate

In the same way men have added in their own ideas to the white bread gospel taught in many churches.  They have even changed times and laws.  These add ins and changes take away the life giving power of the whole meal everlasting gospel.

Monsanto is a huge company that supplies most of the world’s farmers with their seed for planting a crop.  Many of the seeds have been genetically modified, they have been sprayed with toxic pesticides, fertilizers, herbicides and mold inhibitors.  These seeds are terminator seeds.  The seeds of the plants that grow from them will not germinate. They are unable to give new life.  This is the same with the partial Christian gospel that is taught in most churches.  The promise of forgiveness and eternal life is taught without the conditions for receiving the promises that accompany every Bible promise.

When Christ came the first time, no one but the wise men of the east were ready.  He came to deliver a much needed message for a deeper understanding of the everlasting gospel.  He inquired of people whether they believed in Him. Then He restored their health.  And then He told them to go and sin no more.

When we accept the blessings of grace through faith we are led to keeping the Law.  Do we then make void the law through faith?  God forbid: yea we establish the Law. Romans 3:31.

What is The Purpose of Grace?

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world (Titus 2:11,12).

The greatest single deception by the enemy of souls, leading millions of Christians to their spiritual destruction, is the belief in salvation whilst still consciously sinning.  This is a terminator seed.  The invention of the false doctrine of original sin is unbiblical in declaring you guilty the moment you are born and that you can only overcome sin when Jesus returns. It promotes a very misleading idea of the nature of sin.

You are not guilty when you are born.  When you are old enough and know better and your conscience is fully developed, then if you act against the words of God you are sinning.  You and I always have a choice, to sin, or to resist the temptation to sin.  This is what is meant to surrender your will to the will of God. “For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins” (Hebrews 10:26).

Christ came in fallen human flesh and was subject to temptations as we are (Romans 8:3 & 4).  He overcame by living a perfectly sinless life as an example for us. If Christ came in the unfallen nature of Adam before the fall there would have been no point to His sacrifice at Calvary.  It would have been an example of a nice gesture of a caring God. Believing this would be like planting a terminator seed.  But the true nature of Christ in fallen human flesh makes His sinless life and complete sacrifice a world shaking defeat of Satan in the great controversy between good and evil.

Our sins may be forgiven because Jesus payed their penalty for us on the cross. And He offers to bless us with His presence to lead us away from temptation. Putting to shame the accuser who declares man cannot overcome sin.  Fallen humanity combined with divinity can overcome sin.  By faith, claiming the promises we can walk in the spirit overcoming the temptations just as Christ did.

Therefore the two fertile seeds for the whole meal everlasting gospel are:

1/ The nature of sin includes choice and free will.

2/ The nature of Christ was divinity in fallen human flesh.  As we are intended to be fallen humanity connected in divinity.

The conclusion of the Bible is the book of Revelation and it clarifies our need for victory over sin throughout:

  • At the beginning seven times in chapters 2 & 3; Revelation 3:21. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

  • In the middle in Revelation 14:12. Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

  • And at the end in Rev 22:14. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

John wrote the most popular of the gospels.  Many people love John 14. But we must not just pick and choose the verses we like.  We need the whole meal gospel. Let’s look at John’s message:

  • A beautiful promise in John 14:4: If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

  • Then the condition for receiving the promises in John 14:15:

If ye Love Me, Keep my Commandments

  • Which is also the condition for receiving the promise of the comforter, the Holy Spirit in John 14:16: And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

  • Then repeating the Main Point of Keeping the Commandments three more times just in case someone missed it:

  • John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

John 14:24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings.

Is this the New Testament?  Well yes it most definitely is.  Are you keeping all of the Ten Commandment of God or is there one you are struggling with?  The longest begins with ‘remember’.  Are you keeping the 7th Day Saturday Sabbath Holy?  The early church of the apostles had power unlike our modern Christianity.  Why?  They kept all Ten of the Commandments of God and taught the application of the New Covenant Sanctuary Pattern, His complete plan of redemption.

The apostles also taught what the Sabbath pointed beyond itself to.  “Saturday keeping is not the seal of God.  Christ as He is reflected in the Sabbath of the Lord, through the Sabbath of the Lord, and in it, in the mind and heart of the believer, in the living image of God completed, that is the seal of the living God. Then there is written in the foreheads of that people the name of the Father. 2 Corinthians 3:18.” (1893 General Conference Bulletins; AT Jones) The Seal of the Living God. Celebrating the Creation as a New Creation

This unpopular whole meal everlasting gospel will lead to everlasting life. “Narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life; and there are few who find it” (Matthew 7:14 NKJV).

When the disciples in Matthew 24 asked Christ about the end time, His first response was to give a warning that they not be deceived.  Nearly all loaves of bread in our supermarkets claiming to be whole meal bread are actually only about 20 percent whole meal flour when you read the list of ingredients on the packet.  This translates to the spiritual domain when you ask conservative members of our church who claim to be following the Bible and the spirit of prophecy, whether they are following SOP diet & health reform and dress reform, right thinking and spiritual directions, you will most likely find they are not.

Both the white bread and the partial whole meal gospel are deadly deceptions giving people the impression they are rich and increased spiritually, when in fact they are spiritually wretched, blind and naked.  Beware of the partial proclaiming present truth, which underneath is mostly white refined flour.  There are very simple powerful instructions in the writings of Ellen White that if followed, definitely bring us closer to the continuous connection with Jesus Christ.

The Spirit of Prophecy (particularly the cutting instructions for this time) has largely been rejected.  And if James and Ellen White were resurrected now, then they would be barred from speaking in most of our churches and labeled as extremists. This testimony of Jesus has been rejected.  Therefore, if Jesus came now, He also would be rejected and barred from preaching in our churches. What a complete and shameful disaster!

May God bless your continuing discovery, digestion and joyful application of the wholemeal everlasting gospel in your life now.  Like the seed that fell on the good ground: “But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.” Luke 8:15.
