The world is rapidly heading toward a centralized and globalist authoritarian governance model which will strip individual human beings of their civil liberties.
The World Economic Forum, an elitist cabal with aspirations of global control, has been growing in influence for decades. In 2023, it hosted yet another annual forum in Davos, Switzerland which was attended by many of the world’s key government and corporate leaders. The purpose of the ongoing meetings in Davos are to implement global collaboration on a supranational level to combat so-called global threats. The initiated elites are working overtime to bring in what they call a Great Reset, or Fourth Industrial Revolution, but which in reality is government and private industry uniting to control humanity and to eliminate the civil liberties and freedoms of humanity, including liberty of individual conscience, free speech, and the right to assemble to protest tyranny. The tools being utilized to accomplish these ends are:
A so-called “climate emergency”, which requires supranational control over the nations of the earth for the common good;
The claimed need to centralize information in the form of digital ID and digital currency to control all movement and all economic involvement;
The so-called “Covid emergency” which requires universal participation in a global health initiative to inject humanity with dangerous and ineffective drugs created by corporations who are immune to legal liability or the standard laws of transparency;
Trans-genderism and sexual immorality of every kind to break down family structures, personal independence, and what is left of biblical morality in the western world; and
War and threats of war against non-compliant nations who will not submit to the New World Order.
What is far less well-known is the key involvement of the Papacy with the WEF, and the common interests,communications and goals between Klaus Schwab and Pope Francis. Schwab and Francis also have a common mentor, a Marxist revolutionary archbishop from South America, Helder Camara. Camara endorsed Cuban communism, and endorsed armed rebellion against government.
One of the key obstacles still standing between global totalitarian control by Pope Francis and the WEF, are national interests and the weakening national constitutions that protect civil liberties in individual countries. Global priorities clash violently with constitutional protections for individual rights. It is impossible for the WEF to control so-called “misinformation” if there is a recognized individual right of freedom of speech in a given land. In the globalist world view, the right of dissent and protest must be eliminated or at least dramatically weakened. That is why there is a constant narrative from elites like Pope Francis of the need to elevate the so-called “common good” (as defined by himself) as a priority superior to individual rights.
Principle WEF advisor, best-selling author and prominent globalist homosexual, Yuval Noah Harari, has declared that human rights are actually a fiction, that life has no meaning, and that the God of the Bible is dead.2
There is a connection between the Vatican’s war against individual rights and the centuries-old papal attacks on the idea of national sovereignty. The papacy has always claimed to be the vicar of Christ on earth, vested with all of Christ’s authority, and therefore above all civil powers.3 Pope Leo XIII famously declared, “We hold upon this earth the place of God Almighty.” And, as Pope Pius XI stated, “If there is a totalitarian regime, totalitarian in fact and by right – it is the regime of the Church, because man belongs totally to the Church.”4
Nationalism a Threat
The clash between the absolute power claimed by the Popes of Rome and the national constitutions which protect individuals from papal authoritarianism, is obvious.
"The Constitution of the United States guarantees liberty of conscience. Nothing is dearer or more fundamental. Pope Pius IX, in his Encyclical Letter of August 15, 1854, said: `The absurd and erroneous doctrines or ravings in defense of liberty of conscience are a most pestilential error--a pest, of all others, most to be dreaded in a state.' The same pope, in his Encyclical Letter of December 8, 1864, anathematized `those who assert the liberty of conscience and of religious worship,' also 'all such as maintain that the church may not employ force'" (Great Controversy 565)5
The clash between papal power and nations right to self-government is equally clear.
Martin Luther
Five centuries ago, when Martin Luther was condemned by the Pope by a papal bull, Exsurge Domine,6 a lengthy debate occurred within Germany as to whether Luther ought to be heard to answer to the charge of heresy by German authorities, or whether he should simply be handed over the Papacy to be presumably tortured by the Inquisition.
For himself, Luther burned the papal bull against him in the gate of Wittenberg in 1520.
Pope Leo X, who had issued the bull condemning Luther, demanded that Luther be turned over immediately. But German authorities were not so sure. Perhaps Luther ought to be given an opportunity to answer to the charge of heresy before German officials so his defense could be heard and judged accordingly. This enraged the pope. The Pope had already declared Luther guilty of heresy. The Germans had no right to consider anew a question which the Pope had already determined!
The pope’s agent, Papal Nuncia Jerome Aleander, railed against the interference with the papal bull by German authorities. When asked whether Luther should be permitted to appear before a secular tribunal to be examined as to the faith, Aleander replied, “Never.” He stated:
“As for myself, I would gladly confront this Satan [referring pejoratively to brave Luther], but the authority of the Holy See should not be prejudiced by subjection to the judgment of the laity. One who has been condemned by the pope, the cardinals, and prelates should be heard only in prison. The laity, including the emperor, are not in a position to review the case. The only competent judge is the pope. How can the Church be called the ship of Peter if Peter is not at the helm? How can she be the ark of Noah if Noah is not the captain? If Luther wants to be heard, he can have a safe conduct to Rome. Or His Majesty might send him to the inquisitors in Spain”.7 [emphasis added]
And here, in plain sight, is the root of papal opposition to the concept of national authority, or nationalism. If a nation is independent from papal (or globalist) authority, then the papacy (or globalists) cannot compel a nation and its people to do anything. The concept of national autonomy must be broken, or at least cowed to the place where nations become compliant. In the words of Aleander, the laity are in no position to judge for themselves. If the laity, the common people, the common nations, have sovereignty to judge for themselves, they may well refuse to bend the knee to Covid vaccines, digital IDs, or climate Sunday laws, the modern sacraments of Pope Francis’ papacy.
The Vatican has been working for over two centuries to recover the loss of its global authority since Napoleon took Pope Pius VI captive, and broke the back of papal domination over the minds and consciences of the nations. Nationalist interests, and national constitutions, still stand in the way of the re-establishment of global papal control.
Below are some recent examples of papal objections to the concept of nationalism.
“No one nation can provide the common good for its people all by itself”, Francis said. “The common good has become global and nations must come together for their own benefit.”

“On one side”, Francis said, “there is “a solidarity grounded in justice and the attainment of peace and unity within the human family, which is God’s plan for our world,” while the other path, he warned, “emphasizes self-sufficiency, nationalism, protectionism, individualism and isolation.“It [nationalism] must not prevail,” he added.
“Our ‘we,’ both in the wider world and within the Church, is crumbling and cracking due to myopic and aggressive forms of nationalism and radical individualism,” he said.
In our time, world peace is “threatened by forms of particularism and nationalism, driven by selfish interests and unbridled greed,” the pontiff told a delegation from B’nai B’rith International, a nonprofit Jewish organization. “This increases the risk, in the end, of even greater contempt for human dignity and rights.”
Conclusion
The Biblical book of Revelation predicts a global coalition between the papacy, the nations of the earth, and the merchants of the earth which prohibits buying and selling except for those who have the mark of the authority of the first beast of Revelation 13 (the papacy). Covid demonstrated the collaboration of these powers to deprive individuals of mobility and civil liberties. Humanity is moving at lightning speed toward the establishment of much greater controls in these areas.
