My name is Ernesto Illingworth, Pastor of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

I am writing to formally state that, after a lifetime of being part of this beautiful movement and after carefully and prayerfully studying all its beliefs—such as the investigative judgment, the sanctuary, the Sabbath, healthful living, the prophetic gift, the Godhead, and others—I have come to the conclusion that !!! it is all true!!

Thus, I remain convicted to be part of this beautiful militant church of God.

I am formally affirming my continued and unwavering commitment to the foundations of my faith. I affirm the Holy Scriptures as the inspired, authoritative Word of God. I affirm the Spirit of Prophecy as a gift given to guide, correct, and build up the remnant church. I uphold, without reservation, the 28 Fundamental Beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

I remain committed to a life of obedience to God, including faithfulness in tithe and offerings, in harmony with biblical instruction (Malachi 3:8–10) and the counsel entrusted to the church.

My conviction, loyalty, and conscience are bound to Christ, His Word, and the mission of His church. I commit to respect and publicly express honor and appreciation for the leadership of this organization, and encourage everyone to press together.

Therefore, this is not a resignation from belief, mission, or faithfulness—but a clear declaration that more than ever I stand firmly upon them.

Please make this effective immediately.
