Michigan Conference Chooses New President

After considering several candidates, the Michigan Conference Presidential Search Committee and Executive Committee selected Elder Jim Micheff to replace Elder Jay Gallimore as President of the Michigan Conference of SDA.

Elder Micheff has accepted the invitation.

Elder Micheff graduated from Southwestern Adventist University before beginning his ministerial career in the Rocky Mountain Conference. In 1996 he moved to Michigan where he has served as pastor, Youth/Family Ministries Director for 8 years, and then served as Michigan Conference Executive Secretary for the past 10 years.

He and his wife, Gail, have been married for 39 years and have 4 grown children and 6 grandchildren. In his spare time, Pastor Micheff likes camping, hiking, reading, playing racquetball, golfing, and spending time with family.

May God bless Michigan as they continue to honor the Advent Message in the great state of Michigan.
