The following quotes are from a speech that Russian president Vladimer Putin gave on Thursday in Sochi.
Regarding Wokeism
“We see with bemusement the paralysis unfolding in countries that have grown accustomed to viewing themselves as the flagships of progress.
Of course, it's none of our business what is happening. The social and cultural shocks that are happening in some countries in the Western countries, some believe that aggressive blotting out of whole pages of your own history, the affirmative action in the interest of minorities, and the requirement to renounce the traditional interpretation of such basic values as mother, father, family, and the distinction between sexes are a milestone … a renewal of society.
In the name of "progress," the Western world is blotting out its history with things like the 1619 Project, creating division and racism through "anti-racist" Critical Race Theory, and tearing down the fabric of the family by ignoring fathers, encouraging mothers to abort their kids, and telling parents they aren't their children's primary stakeholders in education. We marvel as Putin blasts Wokeism and compares it to the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution, slams CRT and the politically demonic practice of calling women "birthing people."

They were trying to destroy age and century long values, revisiting the relationship between the people, they were encouraging informing on one's own beloved, and families. In the Soviet Union, children were taught that their mother was the State and instructed to rat out their parents if they told them anything that went against the word of the Party. Religion was banned in the pursuit of a "better" humanity that would become morally pure by following Marxism. He goes on:

What a strange universe we are in, friends.
The Soviet Union promised in 1956 (via Nikita Kruschev) to bring down the United States ‘without firing a shot.’ Ironically, Kruschev was right—it is now happening from within by our own leaders. Perhaps even more ironic is that Putin, an ideological heir of Kruschev (and a guy with lots of skeletons in his closet), is now—in a moment of honesty—warning western nations against their suicidal ideations of wokeness and Critical Race Theory. It is a warning worth hearing, from someone who has ‘been there.’
We may not like the source, but intellectual honesty demands that we admit truth when we hear it. Some progressive Adventists may not like this warning from Putin, having already opened their hearts up to wokeness, but hard truth is truth nonetheless.
The United States is currently in the grip of progressive leftists who are determined to tear down its Constitutional foundations and build a new socialist dystopia on the ashes of this once great nation. We can easily place our finger on the prophecy that this lamb-like nation would turn into a dragon, and just as easily acknowledge that we probably won’t relish this transition, destined as it is for for disastrous control over our life. It is coming though.
The die has been cast.
What we can do is ask the Lord to change us. May He mold us into citizens of that better country (Hebrews 11:16), unalterably resolved to not let go of our hope. We are pilgrims here, but citizens of that better country. Let us fix our eyes on that awesome land, not on nations that are passing away (1 John 2:17).
Call upon the Lord while He may be found (Psalm 18:3; Isaiah 55:6; Psalm 55:16). He cares.
