If beauty is as beauty does, the way Sheila Jackson Lee treats other people qualifies her as one of the ugliest people in Washington politics. Her latest profanity-laced tirade against a staffer went viral on Sunday. It’s everywhere today. It was on the 7:00 news last night.
We would rather ignore it, however it was sent to us no less than eight times by church members who are horrified to even think that this . . . heinous . . . person … claimed to be a Seventh-day Adventist for two decades on her Wikipedia page. It is so awful, that Christian decorum prohibits printing her abuse here.

Sheila Jackson Lee has repeatedly won the position of "Meanest Democrat Member of Congress" from the Washingtonian Magazine.
In an unbelievable lack of wisdom and discernment The Seventh-day Adventist General Conference Session planners invited her to address the crowd at the 2015 San Antonio General Conference. Apparently, planners of the event regard politics more than they do biblical principle. The GC should never have placed this grotesque woman in front of Seventh-day Adventists at their worldwide premiere Church event. They own it now.
Jackson Lee is a multi-time proponent of abortion, including voting "no" on a proposed ban for partial-birth abortions.
She has also consistently voted in favor of gay rights, receiving a score by the HRC of 100% on gay rights. She strongly favors homosexual marriage and the abominable Equality Act, according to her voting record and ballotpedia.org.
Jackson Lee has always been quick to assign racism as a motive of her political opponents and others. In 1997, Lee asked NASA officials whether the Mars Pathfinder photographed the American flag that astronaut Neil Armstrong had planted on the surface of Mars. When it was pointed out that the flag in question was on the moon, not Mars, Jackson Lee accused them of racial bigotry.
In 2003, she demanded that more Hurricanes be named with African American-sounding names.
In May 2019, the NAD (it goes without saying) invited Sheila to be the keynote speaker at a Religious Liberty Dinner. They own it.
In 2016, she was awarded the Black History Achievement Award by Oakwood University. It's embarrassing. They own it, now. One would think that a person with a grotesque public record like this might receive another award—such as being disfellowshipped.
Most businesses in America wouldn’t tolerate this kind of verbal abuse. They would be taken to HR and fired. But don’t worry, if Sheila is elected mayor of Houston she will be right there aborting as many Texan babies as she can. And preparing for the next invitation to speak at a non-discerning Adventist function.
