After Celebration of Rebellion, SECC Will Ordain a Woman in November

Under Sandra Roberts, the illegitimate female president of the SECC, the Compliance problem in the Seventh-day Adventist Church is becoming more obvious.

With two moves of bold defiance, the SECC answers the question of whether they will yield to the formally expressed will of a world church that they claim to be a part of. Here are the defiant actions:

On October 29 (tonight) Sandra Roberts will take part in a meeting at the Mt. Rubidoux SDA Church. The title of the meeting? NOT IN COMPLIANCE.

We are told this NOT IN COMPLIANCE meeting will be live-streamed. Link.

On the heels of this celebration of rebellion, the Mt. Rubidoux SDA Church is planning to ordain a woman on November 17th.

The Compliance policy, voted by representative members of the world church on October 14 barely had time for its ink to dry when a church in the SECC is defiantly choosing to ordain a woman. Here’s what ought to happen:

  • The SECC should warn the Mt. Rubidoux Church to not do this, or the pastoral staff would be fired and replaced.

  • Failing that, the PUC (Pacific Union Conference) should call the SECC office and warn them not to do this or there would be consequences.

  • Failing that, the NAD should intervene and warn both the PUC and the SECC to not go through with this rebellion or there will be consequences.

What is Rebellion?

Rebellion is a sin. Did you know that?

Yes, the Bible says that rebellion is similar to witchcraft (1 Samuel 15:23). In both rebellion and witchcraft, you give up part of yourself to the Enemy in order to gain power. This makes you a slave to the Enemy, obligated to do his bidding, not the Lord’s.

Rebellion causes a spiritual drought in your life, killing off the fruits of the Spirit. In Psalms 68:6, the Bible says that “the rebellious dwell in a dry land.” Nothing grows in a dry land, just the occasional weed or cactus. The fruits of the Spirit cannot survive there (Galatians 5:22-23).

Rebellion causes the Lord to become your enemy. Isaiah 63:10 says “But they rebelled
and offended his holy Spirit, so he turned into an enemy and fought against them.”
God has a goal to contend for His people, but rebellion will cause the Lord to fight against you.

It is serious. Let us ask God to intervene in this situation, lest the SECC receive the above curses/consequences. Let us also ask God to reveal the root cause of this rebellion. Let Him expose it. May God also protect those faithful members in the SECC, delivering them from the devastating consequences of rebellion.

“Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place” (Revelation 2:5).
