There is a new destructive spirit in Adventism. It’s time to stop tiptoeing around, and pull the curtain back on it.
Is is a blend of Black Lives Matter, and Social Justice Warriorism shouting in the ear of biblical Adventism. It draws heavily from political leftist ideology, sees Jesus as a Social Justice Revolutionary, and removes the protective cover from a black hole of generational bitterness. It’s angry. It cusses occasionally, then airbrushes over the foul language as some sort of cultural privilege.
It claims that Compliance is fueled by white privilege, while itself burns on the high-octane fuel of generational bitterness. Here’s a sample from a . . . . pastor:

The proceedings this week at #GCAC18 were absolute foolishness! And HOW exactly do you intend to implement this Pope St. Wilson? And how do you intend on surviving fiscally when the two unions who pull in the most bank are the ones you intend to “force into compliance” - I believe it was Ellen White who warned us to guard against such centralized power. “Kingly Power” - “Force is the last act of EVERY false religion.”
- I love my church, my people, the ones who pulled me in off the streets and loved me back to life - but this PATRIARCHY, this WHITE SUPREMACY, this SEXIST, HOMOPHOBIC organization no longer represents me, I do not love it. We are so damn Catholic in our structure but turn around and demonize the entire Catholic Church as being the beast and the antichrist, when our entire church structure integrates this abuse of authority under the guise of “ordination” which is NO way practiced in Scripture the way it is now; ONLY to tie one arm of the church behind its back?! A church who’s supposed to be focused on mission!?!!!?!
I am ashamed and embarrassed. NEVER, anywhere do we see Christ who is the head of the church flexing on people and attempting to coerce and force others into compliance. THAT is ANTI Christ. One of the MOST DIVISIVE individuals in our denomination sits at the helm, but I believe there is a synergy waiting in the wings of all this chaos ready to be unleashed.
I implore you Millennials, those in my generation, first wave and latter ( of whom present leadership is afraid to unlock keychain leadership in fear that we may break it - spoiler alert: you already broke it!) to rise up, tear down and to speak out against any and every injustice and to totally dismantle this system that we rage against - stop waiting to be hired and picked up, it ain't all that its cracked up to be. You must carve out new spaces and places where the true Christian experience can be felt, the Holy Spirit can freely move and a new baton passed along. We need a little anarchy. We need new DNA!!!

Well there it is.
Out of the hundred attaboys (oops, attagirls) that followed this public post, there was one fellow who questioned the use of foul language and accusations of “White supremacy.” He did this in a respectable way and was quickly pounced on and called a racist by many others.
