The NAD Year-end Meeting is currently underway at the new NAD building in Maryland.
On Friday, Dan Jackson made this statement :
"LET IT BE UNDERSTOOD -- to all who like it, and to all who don't like it -- WE WILL NOT BE DETERRED!"
"We don't care what action! We don't care what body! WE DO NOT CARE! We have a mandate from God to encourage, to enhance, and empower women to serve as pastors”
Not exactly the words of a repentant person looking to be reconciled in humility with his brethren around the world are they?
“But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace” (James 3:17).
On Sunday (today) the NAD determined to create a document clarifying their position and send it to the GC. The “Writing Committee” of this Document consists (among others) of Randy Roberts, Sandra Roberts, Leslie Pollard, John Freedman, etc.
Each of these individuals are boisterous supporters of WO. The document will be composed (purportedly) without input from Dan Jackson, and voted on tomorrow or Tuesday. It will likely be in the form of an open letter. We will report on it, when it becomes available.
