NAD Funds Study On Parents of LGBT Adventist Millennials

Research is being funded by the Adventist Church's North American Division to study how Adventist parents of millennials navigate their child's coming out and if the church could provide better resources.

According to online sources, the study is being conducted by Rene Drumm. Mrs. Drumm holds a PhD degree in sociology with an emphasis in family studies from Texas Woman’s University and the Master of Social Work degree from Michigan State University.

Alicia Johnston, and Daneen Akers are helping to promote this study on their Facebook pages.

This appears to be central issue:

“…to study how Adventist parents of millennials navigate their child's coming out…”

God grant us the courage to say “Homosexuality is a sin, and it must be repented of in order to experience the wonderful forgiveness of God and walk in newness of life.”

“Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.  Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the LORD, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon” (Isaiah 55:7).
