This past Wednesday, the 23rd, an accidental fire was started not far from the Daystar campus. With the drought and high temperatures, it was rapidly advancing toward the school.

The mother of a staff member there immediately called about a dozen individuals and activated a prayer chain.

Through God's providence, there were fire trucks, helicopters, sheriffs from across the mountain who had been fighting another fire, so they were able to respond quickly to help them. The fire burned some trees on the edge of the campus, but did not get on the grounds. We are praising God for His mercy and goodness in answering our prayers.

Daystar Academy is one of the few SDA schools that are still striving to follow the 'Blueprint' in education that we were given by Inspiration.

It is also located in one of the most beautiful settings in America, in Castle Valley, Utah.
