Pacific Union College Excludes Gay Group From Fall Festival, Then Issues Apology

November 11, 2022 NewsHound

This picture is from a gay PRIDE event; it is used as a illustration of LGBTQ debauchery.

On Sunday, November 6, Pacific Union College hosted a Fall Festival in the gymnasium. Various student groups were represented there, such as Chem Club, Kasa Club, and Sol Club. There were bake sales and food tasting booths, and the Communication Club.

One group that was not represented there was GASP, an unofficial group of students and faculty members at Pacific Union College who aim to support and affirm lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) students.

It is the nature of militant homosexuality to complain and they complained about not being represented at the Fall Festival. They were supported by the…wait for it… Diversity, Inclusion and Equity office at PUC.

One PUC faculty member tells the story on the GASP social media page. This faculty member wears black in support of women’s ordination and supports macro evolution in articles.

To mollify the complainers, the school issued an apology to GASP on their Instagram page on Wednesday.

This provoked even more complaints from the disgruntled gay mob. Some of the comments:

  • The classic “listen and learn” behind closed doors. Absolutely no actions.

  • This apology only came up because we pressured u to do so, not ur own accountability. i find it hard to believe how authentic this apology is.

  • I’ve said this all before but I’m going to say it again; By blacklisting the gay and straight alliance at fall fest, PUC showed that they do not love or value queer students. This is an empty PR statement meant to save face. Being gay is not a choice, not a disease to be overcome, and it is NOT a sin.

  • All words, no action. Get over yourselves. This is OLD.

  • PUC will only listen if we speak with our wallets. LEAVE THIS SCHOOL AND ANY ADVENTIST INSTITUTION if this is how they act.

  • As alumni, I've withheld donations for 16 years, and will continue to do so until PUC changes its stance on this issue. Time for change!

Observations

Never apologize to the woke mob or gay mob. They don’t want your apology; they want your destruction.

This is a teachable moment, for PUC to reaffirm their commitment to biblical sexuality. The sooner the better.

We will not acknowledge as genuinely Christian any individual that will not make the aforementioned biblical confession before the world and conduct their life on that basis. Adventist colleges must remember that their existence makes sense only as a protest and an alternative to the dominant culture of academia.  The same is true of people.  We are in the world, but we cannot be of the world and in Christ at the same time.

Never tell the LGBTQ mob that you are proud of them. They are suffering from a devastating pride already, let us not add to their burden.

Notice how one ‘complainer’ stated that homosexuality is not sin. The Bible calls it abomination, so yeah, that’s sin. Our schools would be better off without people like this. Let them go. And welcome them back if they repent and resolve their sin of rebellion.

****

“Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching” (2 Timothy 4:2).

This letter reaffirms the world church’s biblical teaching on human sexuality and created identity. More importantly, it warns that some Adventist schools have accommodated unbiblical views, and rightly states that the Conference cannot encourage families to send youth to such schools.
