On August 21, 2022, the Constituency of the Rocky Mountain Conference, in collusion with the Mid-America Union, voted "The Rocky Mountain Conference may submit names of all qualified men and women for ordination to the Mid-America Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists."
But the Seventh-day Adventist Church already voted in GC Sessions (1995, 2005, 2015), directly and indirectly, not to authorize the ordination of women to the gospel ministry. All three decisions were rendered by votes of delegates in duly called General Conference Sessions. The ordination of women is against the Word of God.
The practice of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, in harmony with Scripture, is to ordain only spiritually-qualified males to the Gospel ministry.
A general Zoom call will be held on Sunday, September 18, at 11:00AM Mountain Time, and 12:00 Central Time, to which all interested Seventh-day Adventists are invited. The purpose of the call is to give opportunity for the voices of members in Rocky Mountain Conference and other Mid-America Union churches and conferences to share concerns about the illegal vote and potentially act to preserve a witness to Jesus and His present truth in the geographical region served by the Rocky Mountain Conference and Mid-America Union.

When you join the call include in your zoom identity the initials of the conference you represent. This meeting is explicitly for church members who support the world church vote and who oppose the illegitimate voted decisions of RMC and MAU. Equal time will NOT be given to those favoring women's ordination. The purpose of this call is to hear from members and delegates from RMC/MAU churches, for them to connect with each other, and discern a faithful path forward. Provision has been made for the participation of up to 500 logins.
