Q Christian Fellowship is a pro LGBTQ+ group based in Chicago Illinois. Their mission:
Q Christian Fellowship cultivates radical belonging among LGBTQ+ people and allies through a commitment to growth, community, and relational justice.
Relational justice is another plank in the social justice platform, blending intersectionality and victimhood.
Some of the animating beliefs of the Q Christian Fellowship are,
God affirms LGBTQ+ identities and gender expansive identities.
God affirms same-sex relationships.
Any theology which teaches that a homosexual can be changed by God is dangerous and disproven. Q Christian Fellowship believes that LGBTQ+ should remain UNCHANGED.
According to their facebook page, SDA Kinship had a booth at this convention, along with defrocked SDA bisexual ex-pastor Alicia Johnston who was promoting her gay theology book.
Gay theology is an effort to reinterpret the Bible to make it supportive of the LGBTQ+ agenda. Gay theology is how Spectro-progressive ‘Christians’ synthesize the Bible with their modernized beliefs. It is also the direction our Universities are traveling as they move from the female-ordination wedge issue towards the inevitable normalization of homosexuality.
After this convention, Steve Chavez (former Adventist Review managing editor) organized a ‘Path to Inclusion’ meeting on January 9th at the Sligo Church. The goal of this meeting was a Q&A session designed to encourage SDA churches and members to fully accept LGBTQ+ people into church fellowship. SDA church leaders were encouraged to attend.
