German Adventism consists of two Unions, North and South. Each Union has three conferences. Pray for our faithful people in Germany, they need our support and compassion.
The North German Union, led by Johannes Naether, is under a formal warning from the General Conference Executive Committee for willful violation of the Seventh-day Adventist ordination standard regarding pastors.
Exhilarated by the forbidden fruit of ordaining women in opposition to Scripture, they are emboldened by a lack of any discipline regarding it. Now, they are moving on to the next gender-related issue on the list, approval of LGBTQ+ activity and bringing it into the SDA Church.
On the "Adventhaus Grindelberg" website they published announcements last Sabbath (August 26) regarding LGBTQ updates:
1) They announced that the September 2023 issue of "Adventisten Heute" was released last Sabbath. See webpage:
2) They announced study classes on LGBTQ, led by Sasa Gunjevic (the avowed bisexual pastor).
3) They announced a new book to be issued by the "Advent Verlag" on September 15, 2023. This is the official SDA publishing house in Germany). Book title is "Queergedacht" (means "thinking queer"). Publishing house website for the book.
Note: The word "quer" (one "e") is an official German dictionary word since ages, meaning "crossways", "diagonal", "transverse", etc.). The english LGBTQ context has borrowed that word and anglicized it as "queer" (two "e"s). So when the book title uses "queer" (two "e"s), it is making a word game for Germans, regarding LGBTQ. So the title of this book has a two-fold connotation in German.
4) They announced the October 2023 symposium on LGBTQ at Grindelberg, with further resources added to that announcement, like the September 2023 issue of Adventisten Heute, and also the book "Queergedacht".

I believe these people (leaders) have no intention whatsoever of resolving their ordination problems (first women, and now gays). They are laughing at America and the General Conference. The only thing they will ‘understand’ is consequences for their actions.
