“Gladstone, Oregon – The Oregon Conference of Seventh-day Adventists Executive Committee voted that the Bloom group plant in Portland, Oregon, will no longer be part of the Adventist church and Oregon Conference, effective September 1, 2023.”
You may recall that Bloom Church in Portland Oregon was a church plant sponsored by the Oregon Conference. Pastored by Colby Maier, the Bloom (Adventist) Church began worshiping on Sunday morning in April 2023.
In July of last year, the Oregon Conference instructed the Bloom Church to discontinue Sunday-morning services. It looks like Bloom church decided not to comply with the Conference’s instructions.
When the Oregon Conference does woke things, like participate in BLM marches, and become forever-maskers, we write about it.
When they do good things, like drawing a line in the sand with a rogue Sunday keeping group of ‘Adventists’, we say “Hallelujah, and Huzzah.” Good job, sirs.
