The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) has arrested a woman in connection with a stabbing at Oakwood University early Sunday morning.
Dameesha Macklin, 25, of Houston, Texas, used a knife to assault the victim (a student) during an altercation. Macklin is a student at Oakwood University). Macklin was arrested and booked into the Madison County Jail on a charge of first-degree assault. The victim, who was stabbed three times, was taken to the hospital.
Comment from a local person:
“something coulda been done in this case. There was already an incident between the two students earlier this year. After allegedly being rejected by the victim, Macklin threatened she’d "cut her throat and drink her blood". The victims mom kept harping on the university to do something, yet they were both allowed to live in the same dorm till this happened.”
According to the Reality Wives social media page, Macklin stabbed the victim after she resisted her romantic advances. That’s even worse.
