As we approach the 2019 Annual Council, let us remember that the North American Division stubbornly announced that they would NOT discipline anyone in their Division for defying the world Church by ordaining women pastors. This continues to be their stance.

Although the General Conference in 2015 refused to permit the independent practice of women's ordination to the gospel ministry, on Sept. 28, 2019 the Northern California Conference "ordained" Melissa Howell.

Annual Council members should be aware of these things, in order to address what has metastasized into a rebellious, hostile spirit in the North American Division. The time has come to firmly address this world church issue.

As is the nature with rebellion, it’s even a bit worse this year than it was last year.
