Yesterday, Pope Leo blesses a block of ice at the Vatican and then stands there while these radical environmentalists do some kind of weird pagan Earth worshipping hippy ritual.
Let’s Recap
Pope Benedict started the papal environmentalist monomania in 2005. It lasted until 2013.
Francis took it to another level with his 2015 encyclical Laudato Si', and contumacious fervor for social justice and climate change, nicely packaged with virgin Mary as intercessor and Sunday rest as a model for creation care. People who weren’t sufficiently green were sinning, according to Francis.
In mid July, Pope Leo XIV approved a new Mass specifically for the care of creation to be celebrated on Sundays. Yesterday, he said people need an ‘ecological conversion’, carrying on the radical environmentalist teachings of pope Francis.
In the above clip, Leo says “Creation awaits our conversion.” Investing ‘mother earth’ with some sort of sentient deity. What this is calling for is a green conversion, a radical environmentalist commitment to the earth.
Sadly, the Seventh-day Adventist bureaucracy has also bought into environmentalism, as evidenced by their U.N. approved ADCOM statements on global warming (which they rebranded as climate change to keep up with the times).
And Andrews University? Same thing. They want to be united with the United Nations Climate Change nonsense. Like mother, like daughter.
