History in the Making: "The Desire of All Nations" Comes to Lincoln Center

"New York is ready to be worked. In that great city the message of truth will be given with the power of God." — Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 7, p. 54.

On December 21st at 4:00 PM, a historic moment for the Adventist mission will take place in the heart of New York City. For the first time, a fully mission-oriented concert entitled "The Desire of All Nations" will fill the prestigious halls of the David Geffen Hall, Lincoln Center on Sunday, December 21, 2025. This is not merely a concert; it is a strategic evangelistic endeavor designed to bring the Peace of Christ to the influential, the affluent, and the seekers within the world’s greatest metropolis.

Reaching the Heart of the Cities

The Spirit of Prophecy has long pointed to New York City as a critical field of labor. Ellen White wrote, "Let all that is done [in Greater New York] be a symbol of the work the Lord desires to see done in the world" (Evangelism, p. 384).

This event is that symbol. With Pastor Ron Kelly narrating powerful excerpts from The Desire of Ages and the Southern Adventist University Choir and Orchestra providing world-class music along with gifted soloists, we are bringing the "highest service" to the "higher classes."

We are told that to reach the affluent, we must use methods that appeal to their intellect and aesthetic sensibilities, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

"Music is one of the most effective means of impressing the heart with spiritual truth... It is designed to uplift the thoughts to high and noble themes, to inspire and elevate the soul." — Education, p. 167.

A Gathering of Nations

True to its name, this concert is already drawing the "Desire of All Nations." We have confirmed attendance from Albanian delegates to the US, Turkish families, several Hindu families, and a Globalist influential Jewish guest who is bringing his friends. Many Catholics and seekers from various backgrounds will also be present.

This diversity is a fulfillment of the gospel commission. We are gathering in the heart of Babylon to proclaim the Prince of Peace. Copies of The Desire of Ages will be handed out to these attendees, planting seeds of truth that the Holy Spirit can water long after the music fades.

Why December?

As Seventh-day Adventists, we do not believe Jesus was born on December 25th. However, we have been counseled not to ignore the opportunities this season brings to share the Light of the World when hearts are most open.

"Although we do not know the exact day of Christ’s birth, we would honor the sacred event. May the Lord forbid that anyone should be so narrow minded as to overlook the event because there is an uncertainty in regard to the exact time." — Review and Herald, Dec 17, 1889.

We are using this season, as counseled, to turn minds from commercialism to the Majesty of Heaven.

We Need Your Help

This is a massive undertaking. The costs of renting the David Geffen Hall, Lincoln Center, and presenting a program of this caliber in NYC are significant, but the value of a soul is infinite. We need you to get the word out. Invite your friends, your family, and especially those in the NYC area who need to hear the gospel presented with dignity and power.

Support this Mission: Anyone can donate to support this historic evangelistic event, and all donations and sponsorships will directly support the expenses of this endeavor. We ask for your Prayerful support and sacrificial giving. Please visit: thewisdompearl.org

Let us pray for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on December 21st. May the "Desire of All Nations" truly be revealed to the people of New York City.
