Charlie’s new book, Stop in the Name of God is released this week. Excerpts from an early copy reveal that Mr. Kirk was favorably impressed by the Seventh-day Adventists that he met at Dream City church in Phoenix, last March.
There will be a more thorough review of the book in a week, when we have read through it carefully. Charlie believed in and observed the seventh-day Sabbath of the Bible. In the last chapter he acknowledges that some people try to apply the Sabbath principles to Sunday.
In chapter three, he acknowledges some of the historical forces that replaced, or attempted to replace, the Sabbath with Sunday.
