PARL associates have been chosen. Bill Knott is out.
Elie Henry was voted in as a Public Affairs & Religious Liberty Associate Director. Henry was the former inter-American Division president, who made made Fulcrum7 news in December, 2020 after he and his daughter were kidnapped in Haiti. Thankfully, they were released after five days.
Sam Neves was also voted in as a PARL associate director. Sam was a former associate director of communication in the Seventh-day Adventist church. I think Sam is a way better choice than the former PARL director.
We are very happy that PARL people from Lake Union, Pacific Union, Michigan Conference, Liberty Magazine, or the NAD were not chosen. This is indeed an outcome worth celebrating. Here I am celebrating with my signature checked shirt.
With any luck, checked shirts could become the 29th Fundamental belief. Please pray about it.
In other news, Artur Stele’s wife (Galina) has been elected to serve as director of Women’s Ministries. No celebration will be forthcoming.
Some people (like us) who attended the first half of the GC Session, will be replaced by others attending the second half. I heard today from three dear friends who are headed to Saint Louis. May they have a blessed time there.
And, you too.
