This is not theology. It is blasphemy in vestments.
Flourish (born Madeline) Klink (yes, that’s her real name) is an ordained female ‘pastor’in Manhattan—she recently delivered a sermon where she said:
“Mary “assigned” Jesus male at birth, God is “trans,” and that the risen Christ returned as His “true transgender self.”
This is not a daring new reading of Scripture. It is a late-stage ideological overlay that treats the Incarnation as raw material for a 21st-century identity project. It collapses the moment you open the Bible.
Before his birth, during his life, & after Jesus rose, he was always referred to as a male. Gabriel does not equivocate,
“You will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus” (Luke 1:31).
The angel is not offering a provisional gender assignment pending later self-discovery. The child is identified as male before conception. Mary is not “assigning” anything; she is receiving a declaration.
After the resurrection the same pattern holds: “Woman, behold your son” (John 19:26). The risen Jesus is repeatedly “He.”
Klink’s confused postulations are theologically lethal for a simpler reason: it turns the Incarnation into a costume change.
The truth is, Christian doctrine is not that God tentatively inhabited a male body and later corrected the paperwork. It is the glorious truth that the eternal Son took on human nature, including male embodiment, and that this particular human life—male, Jewish, crucified, risen—is the revelation of God. If the maleness of Jesus is an error later fixed by resurrection, then the Cross is no longer the death of the Son; it is the death of a misgendered placeholder.
That is not Bible theology, it is a different religion, a citadel of wokeness. Historic Christianity already has a word for people who retrofit Christ to fit the spirit of the age. It is not “prophetic.” It is syncretism; it is neopagan religion in woke vestments.
The video is not shocking because it is clever. It is shocking because it is so obviously parasitic. Like much of WO, it needs the authority of the pulpit, the architecture of the church, and the residual prestige of “priest” while emptying the actual content those things were built to protect. The result of Klink’s ‘sermon’ is neither faithful nor interesting—It is just the latest attempt to make the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob salute the wicked culture.
