A migrant caravan is marching toward the US border ahead of the midterm elections. More than 400 aliens from the Honduras entered Mexico on Thursday en route to the United States, Reuters has confirmed. By now, the group has swelled to under 1,000 according to latest reports.
At least two NGOs are funding this caravan. ADRA and Proyecto Faro, according to independent reporter Anthony Aguero. Both NGO’s are ideologically aligned with the political, or progressive, left.
Proyecto Faro, the immigrant support nonprofit out of Rockland County, New York, is funded by a mix of foundations, nonprofits, and government grants. Mainly funded by a Jewish Foundation, The Harry Donenfeld Foundation, named for the Jewish immigrant who co-founded DC Comics.
ADRA stands for the Adventist Development and Relief Agency, its the humanitarian arm of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, a progressive denomination. Its biggest funder is the U.S. government, mainly USAID, which has given it roughly three hundred eighty-five million dollars. Their last report clarifies they were given at least 36 million US dollars by the end of 2025… more to come.
In January of last year, ADRA (which has championed climate change initiatives, mass immigration, and United Nations inclusions) was named on national television for helping to facilitate mass illegal immigration into the united states.
ADRA receives a large portion of its budget from the United States government and the United Nations, and thus is forbidden to proselytize. It has become just another NGO among hundreds, with post-Christian values and a program of uprooting patriarchy and traditional societies, promoting feminism, and of empowering all-pervasive totalitarian government. Ted Wilson took office in 2010 with the hope of reforming ADRA (and La Sierra), but failed at both. ADRA has its own value system and is, like our hospitals and medical school, only very loosely affiliated with the SDA Church and its message and value system.
Under the guise of being humanitarian, ADRA has supported these issues.

Summary
ADRA (Adventist Development and Relief Agency), is the humanitarian arm of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Under the rubric of doing disaster relief, food security, health, education, and livelihoods work, it promotes left-leaning political causes. Many of its public positions and programs use language and priorities that overlap with contemporary left-leaning or progressive advocacy, particularly around climate, racial inequality, refugees, and “social justice.”
In June 2020, then-ADRA International president Michael Kruger issued a statement titled “Denouncing Racial Inequality in the United States.” It named George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor, described their deaths as part of “a national heritage of racism and violence” against African-Americans, and said the United States was “founded on Christian beliefs but built on the backs of slaves.” The language and timing aligned with the broader 2020 Black Lives Matter and Critical Race Theory movements.
When you have someone like a pope moralizing on the issue of ration and immigration, one frustrating thing is they never exactly say what they think the right policy should be. Other than in Francis’s case he wanted unlimited illegal immigration. The current Pope has a similar worldview.
Some people on the theological or ideological logical left say It’s our biblical responsibility to take in every migrant.
The truth is, this issue is not nearly as cut and dried as those on the theological left let on that it is. God is also a god of Order and coming in through the back door instead of the front door represents a breakdown of order when you have immigration laws in the country. It is true that the a political party has openly violated immigration law in the hopes of getting more voters. They want to increase their voter base. Christians should not knowing inject themselves into that agenda. ADRA has no such check valve.
You can’t Incentivize everyone in the world to go anywhere in the world just to better their financial and material status. If you do that, you are going to get a lot more of it, including illegal immigration.
Take California for instance. California has 50% of the homeless population in America in one state. Why is that? Because California is incentivizing homelessness and making it profitable.
It’s advantageous to be homeless in California. This has led to social disintegration. You cannot have a functioning civilization if you are incentivizing disorder.
If you don't have requisite order, you can’t help anyone. If you don’t have a functioning government. Your dream will not sustain.
There are some people who are genuinely needy and we want to be a part of helping those people, and we must do it without violating or bending national laws.
We support legal immigration, we are opposed to illegal immigration. If we say, we support legal immigration into America, then left-wing individuals often respond. Why do you hate brown people? You cannot reason with that kind of mentality.
The only people that will be allowed in the heavenly country are those who have demonstrated their desire to be in compliance with its law. Satan is the ultimate prototype of illegal immigration, as he tries to invade the New Jerusalem (Revelation 20:9-10).
