The description of the book d’Sozo written by Dave Fiedler on the Amazon website reads as follows:
“d'Sozo comes from the Greek root which the New Testament uses for both spiritual salvation and physical healing. But as the Lord's weapon to reverse the worst evil, d'Sozo grows to become an unshakable confidence in God's provision for every need, which frees His people to practice Jesus' combined ministry to body, mind, and soul.”[1]
After having worked on the blessed front lines of ministry in literature evangelism and Bible work for more than a decade and meeting with untold numbers of precious souls struggling in the cycle of depression and addiction, I began praying for meaningful follow-up resources rooted and grounded in the Three Angels’ Messages. Ultimately, those prayers changed to pleas for the ability to create those resources.
The Lord answered in mighty ways, putting me in contact with medical and mental health professionals, trusted pastors and colleagues in ministry, law enforcement, members of the judiciary and corrections, individuals who are walking in long-term victory, as well as those who are still suffering in active addiction. I worked for five years within this calico collaboration to develop a simple yet comprehensive follow-up system for contacts made through canvassing efforts at the local church level.
The Free Indeed! program is built on the foundational d’Sozo principles, combining the ministry of healing and the science of salvation through practical application of the counsel with which we, as the Bible-believing Remnant Church, have been equipped. We work with local churches to establish a full year’s evangelistic cycle and ongoing recovery ministry to reach the ones in most need of the healing power of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We have been in active operation for only three years with slow progress because, to be fair, addiction recovery isn’t the most glamorous of ministry fields. Recovery ministry requires far more than a mere “stepping out of one’s comfort zone.” It requires a level of commitment “to seek and to save” that is tragically uncommon.
Based on the 2024 National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH), approximately 48.4 million people in the United States aged 12 and older (about 1 in 6) battled substance abuse in the past year.[2]
These numbers don’t include digital addictions and the deeper implications of pornography, gambling, or the more “designer” addictions that plague our society. Nor do they reflect the impact mental health has on these realities.
Rather than continue begging and pleading with church congregations to embrace the call of Jesus to minister to these 48 million-plus for whom He died to save, my team and I (now in full cooperative partnership with Recovery Road) decided to take a bold leap of faith.
We made the phone calls and sent the emails, reaching out to the ones we knew would make the biggest impact and launch Free Indeed! & Recovery Road as broadly as possible. In an humbling answer to very specific prayer, each individual with whom we sought to work for this ministry launch event answered the call, and plans were set in motion.

Our Goals
Our aim is two-fold: bring the practical application of the gospel of Jesus Christ to the forefront through community service outreach, and train as many churches, small groups, and organizations as possible to establish a truly Christ-centered recovery ministry in communities across the US.
The harvest truly is plenteous, Friends. And Jesus is coming SOON! We must be bold, we must take decisive action. The time for excuses and half-measures has well and truly passed. We invite you to join us in Tampa for what we believe is the launch of something incredible, as we work to grow the kingdom of God.
For those who would like to financially support the mission of Free Indeed & Recovery Road, sponsorship is welcomed through this secure link:

Julia Bellman is the Speaker and Director of Family Health & Education Resources, a ministry rooted in the Three Angels’ Messages and Righteousness by Faith. The ministry seeks to restore hope and wholeness to people in this world of turmoil and uncertainty, and prepare them to receive Jesus at His soon return.
She is the adult daughter of an addict who has also struggled with depression and substance abuse. Having lost family and friends, and with family and friends who are still captive to the cruel cycle of depression and addiction, Julia’s mission is to bring hope of the gospel to as many as will receive it.
She has served as Bible worker, public evangelist, and literature evangelist, leading canvassing efforts in multiple states and conferences. She began self-supporting ministry efforts in early 2020 after having served as a conference-level officer for more than five years.
